Beautiful quiet region. The house was OK.

The apartment is in a beautiful quiet part of Dublin, very close to the train station. The rooms provide enough space, The garden is beautiful and you get lots of visits of cats and even foxes. The living room is comfy and perfect for movie nights.

There was confusion with the check-in times. We were notified that the check-in would be 1 hour later than originally agreed. In the end it was only 15 minutes after the agreed time but the trash of the previous visitors was still inside the kitchen and we had to take it out ourselves. The house is beautiful but not in the best condition anymore. It needs some maintenance. You can see that a lot of people have stayed there. There were ants in the kitchen. The chair covers were dirty. The walls have marks on them. The kitchen was not 100% clean. The cups and dishes in the kitchen were not clean either. We expected more from the house for the price.

Disappointing

The beds were comfortable and the house had all the necessary amenities.

The state in which we found the house was disappointing, the cleanliness of the rooms was poor, as well as the kitchen and the bathroom had a strange smell. We contacted the accommodation, sent pictures and asked for the house to be cleaned. After multiple attempts a date for the cleaning was scheduled but no one showed up for the cleaning and they stopped answering our messages.

Very Good Cottage with all necessary amenities!

The cottage was a wonderful place, with all modern facilities and amenities provided therein. Check-in was smooth after completing the process online before arrival, which is a must but not a cumbersome one. The cottage is big enough for a family of 4 or 6 with an open garden cum lawn at the side of the cottage. We even spotted a fox tresspassing the property at night! The only limitation is the single bathroom in the cottage which is a handicap if 4 or more people are staying in the cottage but that we knew beforehand from the discloure made by the host on the platform.

Not enough bathroom towels. Also need a door matt as it rained quite a lot while we were there and we couldn't help walking rain in. The key lock needs some sort of light for night time.

Great place to be when in Dublin.

Great location, very clean and equipped with all needed to cook. By car is just 14 mins from the center, and very close to several supermarkets. Would 1000% stay here again.

I can't really fault this property on anything serious, the stay was excellent. One small thing that took me by surprise, there are about 2 light switches that are switches but somehow act as dimmers, so the longer you press them the more intense the light is, nothing bad really.

The property was very cozy, quiet, spacious, and well equipped. It was located only a few minutes from the train station, in a quiet neighborhood.

The tool shed outside the house was in a pretty rough state, it would look much better if closed at all times. When it comes to property the tap in the kitchen was dripping, which was quite irritating.

Quiet, comfortable, with good connections

It is located in a nice quiet suburb, and noises from the neighbouring rooms didn't disturb my sleep, either. The window blinds allow sleeping in real darkness (not universal in Ireland). The beds were comfortable and long enough for me. We took the whole apartment (all three bedrooms) as a family, so I can't report on sharing the common rooms with strangers; but the common rooms were spacious, the fridge and the kitchen furniture were large enough for five persons, and a door separates the common rooms from the aisle to the bedrooms. There is just one bathroom but that caused no problems in the end. Heating was functional (not universal in Ireland). Wildlife (including foxes) visits the garden. The train station (with at least three trains an hour per direction), a bus stop, a supermarket, and multiple takeaways and restaurants are within a 5 minute walk, it was really easy to get around by public transport resp. get supplies & food. The hosts, though you never meet them in the flesh, respond promptly to email requests.

The on-line check-in is cumbersome and confusing, especially when you use a non-touchscreen computer/notebook (the passport scan upload page even had a glitch where you had to step back and forward again for it to load instead of a page meant for phones with cameras). There are no electrical sockets in the bathroom (this seems to be not by design choice but mandated by UK/Ireland regulations) and no mirrors near sockets elsewhere. The hairdryer had a defective plug that overheated quickly, handle with care. Hot water pressure was too low, but this was similar for all places we stayed at in Ireland. Almost twice as much expensive as hotels of similar or higher comfort we stayed at elsewhere in Ireland, but it's Dublin.

We were less than impressed with these lodgings. It looks like mostly this property was “done on the cheap”. Check-in was very difficult: while driving to Dublin from Galway, we had to check-in and provide identifying information BEFORE we were even given the exact address. Manger left less than 1/4 of a roll of toilet paper for our group of 3 for two nights! Shower drain cover does not stay on. Lower corner of bathroom mirror should be fixed: also, please add some mirrors in the bedrooms. There no instructions for using the microwave—this would be helpful. Backyard is very untidy, and the garage with the broken door is unsightly. There was no dish soap or dishwasher soap provided. When we arrived, the dishwasher was full of (clean?) dishes—that is not the norm in these types of rentals. Finally, there is a lack of services/restaurants in the area; provided suggestions would be helpful.

Good location for Dublin!

Location was excellent. The house good and beds very comfortable. James. who came to cut the grass, was really nice and helpful. The Dart railway station and supermarket are easily within walking distance.

The kitchen tap dripped and an extra toilet would have been handy. There was no bath mat to step onto when coming out of the shower so had to use a towel. We just about managed to get the TV to work but James told us they are waiting for a satalite dish to be conected. Just a little TLC needed but on the whole very satisfied with the stay.

A good place to stay if you spend most of the time sightseeing

The location is really nice and Dublin can be reached by train easily.

Well, you can see that it has been used extensively. The furniture etc. has pasted its best years. The water tap in the kitchen was dripping heavily although it was turned off. The mattresses were very soft and you are sinking into it.
