About this house rental
Large, comfortable, clean, beach cottage.
This is a single family home, no shared space., with a small garage, and parking area attached to the house. We are located across the Street from Tamarack Beach.
The price quoted is for a family of 4, the 5th and 6th person will be an extra charge. The coaster train is a great way to travel to downtown, or other beach cities, also the horse races, or fair. It's walking distance to the station, or ample parking at the station. There's over 70 restaurants, and shopping in the village, which is walking distance from the house.
If you are coming to see the flower fields, we are 1.5 miles away. They are usually open from March to Early May.
Beautiful view inside and outside of the beach, and sunsets. Easy access to the beach, which is a 2 minute walk, and few stairs, or ramp, and your on the sand. Both bedrooms have their own bathroom, enclosed patio for little ones safety yard for kids to play. Clean and convenient beach/coastal neighborhood. A grass front yard for enjoying the water views also. Ocean views from the front room, kitchen, and front bedroom. This is not a party house, but a family house. Carlsbad was voted one of the top family beaches in the U.S. Nice large kitchen with an eating area that seats 6. Outdoor patio with barbecue and table seats 6 also. Outdoor hot and cold shower. Full size washer/dryer, firepit, and barbecue, all with ocean view. Walk to the Village to have dinner and shop. Shop at the outlet mall 2 miles away, or large shopping mall 4 miles away. Legoland is less than 3 miles from the house. We provide sand chairs, umbrella's, beach towels, boogie boards, ice cooler, and a wagon for carrying it all.

The location was fabulous. So easy to get in and out, lovely beach not overcrowded, the property right on 101 and yet somehow so private!Everything needed for cooking, eating, relaxing in shared or private spaces. We could not have been happier. Nice provisions for playing at the beach with a wagon to get them there. A all around.

Cosy furnishings, well equipped kitchen, comfortable couches in living room, access to beach for surfing and walking path, and great happy hour food and drinks at restaurant next door. Something for everyone!

Perfect location! Easy walk to restaurants, village, and direct beach access across the street. Patio was perfect for viewing the amazing fall sunsets. The house was clean and equipped with everything you need.

My family just spent 9 nights in this home. Here are the great parts:
-Location!
-View
-Super comfy beds!!
-Cozy living room with nice throw blankets
-Great beach gear
-Nice outdoor patio
-Washer/dryer
-Easy off-street parking
-Good communication with host
-Bathroom in each bedroom!
Needs improvement:
-Leaky window in living room
-Leaky sink
-Fridge needs updating (especially water filter and ice maker)
-Kitchen needs some more things for cooking like tin foil, larger storage containers with lids, and things like that for leftovers.
-Had very little toilet paper for us. We had to buy our own.
-We are big tea drinkers, and their tea pot was unusable.
We enjoyed our visit but wouldn’t stay there again.
