About this cottage rental
Set in the seaside village of Portballintrae, our beautiful 3 bedroom cottage is situated close to the world famous Giant's Causeway. Portballintrae beach is 8 minutes by foot, and the Giant's Causeway can be reached by a fantastic beach and cliff walk or by path a distance of approx 3 Km (or you can also travel a short distance by car or use the tourist train ….. The location is a perfect base for an activity holiday with lots of water sports, paddle boarding , canoeing , swimming and boating at the local harbour and beach. Within walking distance we have a super 9 hole golf course at Bushfoot . A Tennis court is also location in the village also a children’s park and lots of water based activities take place at the harbour over the summer months ………
The cottage comfortably sleeps 5 people, has a family bathroom (with bath and separate shower), and a separate ensuite (with shower) in the main bedroom. The kitchen and utility reside on the top floor of the property with views out over the beautiful countryside.
The cottage has permanent high-speed WiFi connection, and is fully centrally heated, with a big fireplace in the living area. The area offers a variety of activities including cycling, walking, surfing, golfing and canoeing. We allow 1 small dog that is house trained, with own bedding …… extra charge for cleaning is normal £20. This can be paid at the end of the visit ….The Bayview hotel is a 5 minute walk away with good food, drinks and live music at weekends. the world famous Bushmills Inn and Distillery are just 1 mile away within the very pretty village of Bushmills. The village is also fast becoming a very select area with lovely craft shops and fantastic local food and entertainment, a real gem in the heart of the North Coast....
*Please note that during the months of July & August there is a minimum stay at Seabreeze Cottage of 4 nights ...... *Please note that additional last minute guests will incur an additional charge of £65 per guest ……

The cottage was impeccably clean and the host was kind enough to meet us at the property to answer questions. Bushmill is a mile up the road and there are great places to eat closeby. The back of the cottage overlooks a pasture with cows and sheep. I recommend staying here.

The property was very clean and the home was comfortable. The hosts met us when we arrived and they were very kind and accommodating. Great location for the Giants Causeway and the Carrick-a-Rede bridge experience.

Beautiful property in great location but could use cleaning. hostess was away and we were driving with no wifi so did not get her message asking time of arrival. Arrived and keys were not in lockbox as advised. As we are from Canada roaming 15.00 a day so had to put phones on to try reach her. Number on listing not available, perhaps as she was out of country. Tried message host then sit in car waiting. Finally I had stand in cold rainy weather in case they came as rest drove to town to use bathroom. Thankfully her husband arrived to advise she was away, gave us actual location key but he did not know how to use appliances. Fridge had old food in it he took away, but garbage in kitchen, dead bugs (think fruit flies) in tub (took pics) and few spiders and beetles. So looks like could have used cleaning. Would be nice property with proper cleaning.
