Portballintrae 10 Ballaghmore Cottages Self-Catering Accommodation in Portballintrae. A real Home from Home for holidaymakers wanting to experience the beauty of the North Antrim Coast.
The property itself comprises three bedrooms, one with en-suite. The large open plan lounge dining and kitchen areas has wonderful views over the green Antrim countryside. There is a communal garden area to the rear of the house with plenty of room for kids to run around.
The house has dishwasher, washing machine / tumble dryer, microwave and central heating. Bed linen and towels are included in the price . Portballintrae is a delightful, picturesque seaside village two miles west of the world famous Giant's Causeway. Bushmills, home of the famous distillery and numerous bars and quality restaurants is a short stroll.

This property was perfect for our visit to the Open Championship in Portrush - there was Public transportation on the road close to the house and Patrick the owner was extremely helpful with every question we had - he’s a wonderful host - the house was clean and ready for us - easy to access and also quiet and private

Lovely, well presented house. Close to centre of Bushmills, Giants Causeway and numerous golf courses. Lots of great places to eat and drink nearby. Easy 15min walk from Bushmills centre if out in evening and prefer not to drive. Great communication from Patrick before and during our stay. No hesitation in recommending this property.

Perfectly situated for all of the northern coast activities, hikes, and restaurants. We had an AMAZING time and loved the view from the living room every night. The host was incredibly helpful and responsive. Definitely book this home if you're in the area!

Our first time visiting n.ireland , owner was very informative . Ideal location for seeing the area . We would book the cottage again and maybe a little bit more attention to detail with the housekeeping. Comfortable and well equipped cottage and everyone slept well . Space for 4 adults in 2 double rooms and 2 kids in bunks. great kitchen dining and lounge area on first floor with 6 seat table for eating and planning the days events. Quiet location, rural view at the rear. Walking distance to harbour 10 mins. Buses run on main road nearby. Swimming area in the bay by the harbour. Also would be good for crabbing with a drop net or a spot of mackerel fishing or maybe a conger at night. Short drive to surfing beach at Whiterocks Beach. Also only a short drive to some Game of Thrones filming locations. We had a great short peaceful break

Comfortable property in good location. Large open plan living area upstairs with lovely views of countryside. PlayStation and Alexa unexpected extras. Boys very pleased with good sized TV to watch football. Good base to explore North Coast. Portballintrae’s Runkerry beach was beautiful for morning walks and also close to Giants Causeway for a longer walk.

We really enjoyed our stay at 10 ballaghmore cottages. The house was very comfortable, clean and well equipped. My daughter, husband and grandson stayed one night. They have stayed in rented accommodation many times before and were very impressed. We all agreed we would like to return to the cottage in the future.

A family get away after these strange times for a well deserved break. Delighted with our stay. Easy to find and close to all the sights of the north coast. Great use of facilities on offer at the house, a real home from home, and we welcome the pet friendly accommodation so our beloved fur babies can travel with us. A fantastic couple of nights here. Excellent communication with the owner who allowed us to check in earlier. Lovely location with nice views out from the back across the fields. All the main beaches and attractions within striking distance. Definitely recommend the Bushmills railway up to the Giants' Causeway National Trust Centre. We'll definitely be back to this area to explore some more!

Excellent location near Bushmills and Giants Causeway. Beautiful short drive to Portrus. Straight down the street there is a harbor nearby as well as Runkberry Beach which is a fantastic spot for a walk, jog, or just viewing. Great trails thru town all the way to Causeway. Cottage was perfect with full access to internet and all streaming channels such as netflix, amazon, etc. Only wish the washer/dryer were full size.

Should really be 4 1/2 stars. We stayed here 3 nights at the end of 3 weeks of traveling. It is a quiet building in a peaceful setting close to the sights and the town of Bushmills. Tony was accessible and quickly took care of a couple of minor issues, and we appreciated the opportunity to check in early. Bedrooms and bathrooms were clean. Our only complaint was with the cleanliness of the kitchen. The sink, counter tops, refrigerator, and stove area all needed to be cleaned well. Several pots, pans and utensils needed to be scrubbed before using. Dish towels need to be sorted through and updated. Hopefully, these things will be addressed because over-all this really is a great place to stay. I wished we would have had one more day here, and we would recommend it despite the kitchen issues .
