Wonderful!

For us (a family with an 8-year-old), Sunny 2 was a perfect base to explore the area around Komotini and the beaches between Maroneia and Arogi by car. We stayed for a week in July 2025.  A heartfelt 10-star review for both the accommodation and the amazing hosts!  Persephone and Paris, thank you so much for your warm welcome, helpful tips, and all the thoughtful suggestions!  We especially loved: * the scenic daily drives to the beaches and back * the sound of night crickets and morning roosters from the neighbors’ yards * the walk under the stars on our way back from dinner at the local tavern * the choir concert in the village of Iasmos * discovering a hidden gem of a tavern with no reviews on Google Maps in the small harbor of Agios Haralambos * the owners’ super friendly cat and tiny dog who came to check on us every morning  We’ll definitely keep this place close to our hearts and hope to return one day!

The host communication was excellent, helpful and nice. The apartment is cozy and clean. Nice small garden terrace. We only stayed one night on a road trip, did not have the chance to experience the surroundings.

The roads to the location are dusty. Need to use the gps coordinates sent by the host.

Our home in Komotini

We stayed same places one month ago. We liked it too much and stayed 2 nights again on our return way to home. - Quite silent place at the suburbs of village near Komotini. - In the center of nature You will wake up with the singing birds. - If you a lover of the silence and quiet place just to relax, this is the right place for you. - If you are looking for near market, cafe, restaurants etc., you have a car to reach. - Our hosts Katherina and Paris were very helpful for us. Their gifts of plums from their garden were very sweet and delicious. - As long as the roos available, here will be our hone in Komotini.

Nothing sunny about this place

- good location - parking right in front of the apartment. - quiet at night. Only few dogs barking far away - restaurant 7 min walk - clean sheets and towels - good wifi - lots of house hold items - terrace

At this price I was expecting nothing but a clean space and a bed but it seems I'm asking for too much. The pictures from booking do not reflecting the reality - everything is sticky, dirty, dusty or old. - the sheets are clean but the pillows have yellow spots on them. I wanted to change them with others from the closet but they were even dirtier. I ended up putting a towel on the pillow and hope for the best. - I did not open the air conditioning because it looked from a horror movie (yellow with brown drippings and dusty) - i did not use the shower because it was rusty, dirty and some ants in there. - the WC had drippings on it and the toilet seat was too small for the WC. So was hard for me to use it. 🤢 - smells like old. - the ceiling is moldy - the kitchen....well to much to write about the kitchen so i will say only that if you need to use something you need to clean it first. The fridge was dirty and the freezer had mold on the margins. I don't understand why people do this to other people. I feel like i was mugged and punished. I think booking must include an option for clean or not clean because i feel like some people don't understand that it's a must to offer to the client a clean space. So yeah the apartment offers a lot of things but how can you use them if they are dirty? If it's cheap it doesn't mean it must be dirty.

Overall, the place fully lives up to the name - peace and quiet, combined with a beautiful exterior in the form of a well-kept garden/mini park, and of course all the amenities described in the announcement of the destination are available! Due to the language barrier (on my side) the communication with the hosts was not complete, but from the little we said to each other I think they are friendly and hospitable!

I travel for work and it was disappointing for me that they could not issue me an invoice for my stay. If it weren't for this problem - I would definitely come back again, because comfort can be anywhere, and the combination of pleasant greenery and tranquility does not is very common! If the circumstance with the invoice does not bother you - you can safely visit this destination - you will not be disappointed!
