Good Facilities, Great Pool and lovely host

Lovely little cottage situated a bit off the beaten path, but great as a base for exploring the area.
Very peaceful and good for local wildlife spotting, great garden for kids to play in.
Lots of useful amenities in the cottage, but double bed was a bit soft.
Need to use a car to get around but less than an hour to Saintes, La Rochelle, Rochefort etc.
Only an 1 hour 20 mins to Futuroscope Theme Park which was worth the visit.
Pool is only heated from June and we went end of May thinking it would be ok, but too cold for any length of swim (18°C).
Lovely proprietors, really friendly and helpful, thanks for making it a lovely stay!

Le gîte est situé dans un hameau de Saint-Savinien et entouré de champs. Il vient d'être entièrement rénové. Adapté pour 4 personnes il est confortable et bien équipé.
Il est aussi bien situé pour visiter la région (Saintes, Rochefort, La Rochelle, etc.).
Les hôtes sont très disponibles, à l'écoute et soucieux du confort des vacanciers.

Le plan d'accès dans l'annonce n'est pas assez précis. La localisation n'est pas exactement à Saint Savinien mais à 6 kms
(l'Eguille). Problème pour trouver le lieu le premier jour...
D'autre part, il n'était pas précisé dans l'annonce que le linge de toilette (serviettes) n'était pas fourni ni loué.
