About this house rental
Character building of the early 17th century (End Epoch Henri IV), unique - very quiet - completely new and equipped with appliances in 2014 - Near the beaches (19 km, 15-20 minutes from Meschers and Saint Georges de Didonne in car) ... without the nuisance. No vehicles circulate around the estate). The Grand Royan 2 shopping center is 20 minutes away. By going to Cozes (less than 10 minutes, 5 km), you will have access to all the amenities (supermarket U, pharmacy, shops, restaurant, post office, ..).
Length of stay: Arrival on Saturday from 15h30 - Departure on Saturday at 10h30 Max
Cleaning included (the Saturday between 10h30 and 15h30, end of stay)
Possibility rent bed linen (sheets and pillowcases for 3 beds) and 4 x 2 towels for 50,00 €

Lovely property situated in a quiet rural location. Twenty mins drive to Talmont and Meschers, 30 mins to Royan.
Thaims is a farming community so expect to hear tractors working the fields. Supermarket ten mins away in Cozes. Patrice the patron is lovely, speaks very good English and is always available on the phone if needed.

Une belle maison typique charentaise bien rénovée et confortable. Tout est prévu au niveau électroménager. La région présente de nombreux lieux d'intérêt, culturel, historique, viticole sans oublier la mer. En revanche, des soucis de connection en Charente-Maritime mais si on est pas pressé on y arrive. Nous sommes habitués à être accueillis dans d'autres locations par le propriétaire. Cela permet un rapport de confiance, debriffer sur le fonctionnement de la maison et de parler des différents coins de la région. Mais le propriétaire est venu quand j'ai eu besoin et à été très aimable. C'est un ressenti personnel.

Nous avons passé deux agréables semaines dans la maison de M. Lust qui a été disponible quand nous avons eu besoin de renseignements. La maison est très bien rénovée et décorée avec goût.
Il y a tout ce qui est nécessaire pour passer de bonnes vacances dans une très belle région.
Nous avons apprécié le calme aux alentours et être, en même temps, relativement proches de nombreux points d'intérêt.
Seul petit bémol, la connection internet (indépendant de la volonté du propriétaire) mais cela permet de déconnecter 😉
