About this villa rental
Welcome to Villa Almendro in the jungle near the fishing village of "Puerto Viejo de Talamanca" with the virgin caribbean coast, and 29 km from Panama border. The property is quiet and borders the Cano Negro River and complete with ADTsecurity system and covered secure parking 7 minute drive to puerto viejo downtown where life comes alive. Minutes from fine dining, shopping, activities & world class beaches of Playa Cocles, Punta Uva and Manzanillo. Surfers will enjoy the famous Salsa Brava waves being minutes away. Close to two national parks Cahuita and Manzanillo. Wake up in the morning to the sounds of monkeys, toucans and macaws. Watch dart frogs and butterflies. Before you start your day just open the doors and just lay in bed and just BE, enjoy the sounds and beauty of the jungle.

Villa Almendro .... Its a architectural beautiful open home, I've dubbed the Almond House.
The accommodations were great & welcoming. We had all the amenities described. Rooms were roomy with a lot of closet space. We enjoyed the hammock upstairs on the balcony, outside our bedroom doors. The house manager, Jose was nice and offered us a lot of info about the island, from great restaurants, spas, beaches, and how to keen in on locating the holler monkeys in the trees.
I would definitely book again & I can't wait til that time presents itself.
