About this cottage rental

Watching the Sun rice in the early morning to watching the stars at night. We are located on 53 acres just 3 minutes from downtown Fredericksburg. Featuring countryside views from the porch, a full kitchen, dining room, living room, bedroom with a king size bed and full size bathroom also 6 person hot tub. Each room in the cottage is decorated beautifully with fine art and furnishings. Towels and linens are provided. Fredericksburg has great restaurants, shopping and wine tours.

We had a very relaxing and peaceful weekend here at the cabin for our anniversary. The cabin was very unique and had everything we needed for the weekend! The host was so gracious to come and drop off more firewood for us at no extra charge! We had a blast and are so thankful!

I like staying in this property for several reasons. It is in a dark area so I can shoot pictures of galaxies. The area is fenced, so deer don't push over my tripod. The bed is comfortable, the 2 heat pumps work well, it has a full kitchen, and the wi-fi signal is strong. Not to mention all the pictures and the hot tub!

We booked for three nights but on day two had to cut our trip short due to a family emergency. We packed quickly to come home and left a necklace. I messaged the owner and she found it and said she'd mail it. It's been three weeks, multiple messages and nothing. Our fault for leaving it there but she's been less than helpful in returning it. She was paid in full for a three night stay when we only stayed one. No water, electric etc used and she definitely made money on our stay. Asking multiple times to have a small item (with sentimental value) returned isn't asking too much. Very disappointed.

Very nice and quiet area. We enjoyed coffee sitting on the porch rocking chairs. More than enough coffee and snacks were provided. Items to make smores were also provided. Plenty of towels and all neccesities were at reach. Due to the weather (strong winds) we were not able to use the hot tub or fire pit. Hopefully we will next time!

The wife and I had such a great stay over our two night stay! The home was cozy and relaxing. It had everything you could ask for for a simple get away… Fire pit, BBQ grill, warming living room fireplace, hot tub, scenic view with wildlife near by, decent space between neighbors, located it a nice gated neighborhood, and close to the shops and restaurants in Fredericksburg… we would definitely stay again!!

The property is comfortable and very near Fredericksburg; that was great because we went to the museum of the Pacific war. I wish the hot tub had been better, but I said something to them and hopefully they are working on that. we had our dog with us and she was fine and comfortable, we were there the three of us, my husband, my son and myself. Kris and I are in our late 70s and our son is in his 50s. We were all fairly happy with the accommodations. We cooked meals there; the dishes and pots and pans and things are all great. Threfrigerator is very cold.

We absolutely loved this rental. We had the best time watching the full moon in the hot tub with our kiddos. The host's set up was the best I've ever seen - down to the square marshmallows she provides for s'mores. We will definitely be back.
