We absolutely had a wonderful stay!!! the view was absolutely gorgeous. The place was perfect for our needs wonderful time in Portsmouth visiting our family in Rhode Island.!!!

Staying here was like staying at a friend’s home! Everything you could possibly need is there and the location can’t be beat! Being able to travel with my dogs and have a fenced in yard and the water right there was heaven for me! Carol was great to work with any time I had a question. I would love the opportunity to stay here again. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us!

Not What We ExpectedThe house is in a waterfront community, but it is NOT Oceanfront as indicated in the listing. It overlooks a cove on the Sakonnet River. Also, the house is bright and modern on the waterfront side, but old with small rooms on the other. Two bedrooms and the half bath are reachable only by a narrow winding staircase. We enjoy doing some cooking, but the lack of a dishwasher made cleanup more difficult. The views from the deck and sunroom are lovely. The location is good for trips to Newport and Providence. It is within walking distance to local eateries and a riverside beach, but we expected more for the price we paid.
