“Kathleen” Renovated 4 bed 2 bath Newport house

Property needs some attention. Towel bar in master bedroom should be re-installed. The entire house has an ant infestation. Very small ants seen in every room of the house. The house met our party's needs of having sleeping arrangements for 8 people. The beds were comfortable. The house was well located for our events at Naval Station Newport. Primary issue for our large party was the lack of drawers and horizontal shelving for putting away clothing and other items during our stay. One small drawer and cabinet nightstand in several bedrooms was insufficient for our party's 4 day stay. There was no place to put bathroom items in either bathroom. Several shelves in each bathroom would help enormously. We were unable to enjoy outdoor activities due to the graduation schedule and the rain, but it would have been nice to enjoy grilling outside. Kitchen area was very well stocked except for an ice cream scoop which we could not find. Because we needed the dryer after being caught in the rain one afternoon, we discovered that all the sheets and towels from the previous guests were in the dryer, still damp. We dried them and set them aside. On checkout, we searched for the yellow bags for recycling but could not find them. We left all in the proper barrel, but nothing was contained in a bag.
