Welcome to 215A Philadelphia Ave! **2025 Updates—new queen mattresses and box springs and interior painting **
OVERVIEW: Great South Rehoboth Location! Beautifully renovated four-bedroom and two-bathroom duplex with updated kitchen and bathrooms, fresh paint, new flooring, and tasteful decor. Two small pets are welcome (with a pet fee).
The four bedrooms are located on three floors. The main-level bedroom has a twin bed, an en suite bathroom, and a door to the backyard. Two bedrooms are located on the second level, with queen beds and a shared bathroom in each room. The third-floor bedroom, accessed through one of the second-floor rooms, has three twin beds and a flat-screen TV with cable.
The house includes central AC (a supplemental window unit is provided on the third floor), free Wi-Fi, expanded cable TV in the living room and on the third floor, a fully stocked kitchen, dishwasher, in-unit washer and dryer, a screened front porch (semi-private with the other side of the duplex), an outside shower, one onsite private parking spot for a small to midsize vehicle, and one on-street parking permit.
Assorted games, cards, books, movies, a beach cart, and beach chairs are provided for your enjoyment. The house is clean, open, airy, and well-maintained, with lots of room for family and friends. The screened front porch is an excellent area for relaxing after a long day at the beach, having morning coffee, or having an evening cocktail. Every detail has been considered for your stay!
LOCATION: This duplex is just 2.5 blocks from the beach and boardwalk and one block from Rehoboth Avenue shopping and restaurants. It is ideally located for parking your car and walking everywhere!
PARKING: Onsite parking for one car. There is a size restriction- no large SUVs.
AMENITIES: Expanded Wi-Fi, CATV, lovely screened-in porch, beach equipment, and an electronic keypad system for easy check-in and check-out.
THINGS TO KNOW: The 199.99 processing fee is not refundable. Linens are not supplied. However, we do offer a linen rental option to guests. A pet fee is required for each dog (a two-dog limit with a weight restriction). You must go through the second-level queen bedroom to access the third-level bedroom. My husband, 2 young adult kids, and dog enjoyed our stay. We were there for a week, right before the official season started, so there was no one in the unit next to us in this duplex. It was a cute little place for us and we loved the location - we basically walked everywhere! We easily walked to beach, boardwalk, and restaurants. Thank you for sharing your home!

We had a wonderful stay. The house nicely accommodated all of us. New beach chairs were supplied for us to use. Wish we could have stayed longer.

While I wouldn't call this luxe accommodations, the proximity to the beach and dining/shopping was a solid trade off. We loved the screened in front porch, and enjoyed saying hello to passing neighbors and dog walkers. There were only four adults in our party, and we had plenty of room to spread out when someone had a Zoom meeting or needed a quiet room to work. Read the listing carefully: this rental isn't the whole house (as it said on vrbo), pets are welcome (including yappy dogs), and occupants must pass through a bedroom to get to the uppermost floor bedroom. The peeling paint and dishwasher that didn't clean dishes was a bit surprising, but otherwise the unit was fine. We were all about the location. Unfortunately, there was a lot of construction going on in the neighborhood, so if you're a late sleeper, you may want to consider something a little farther out where owners aren't tearing down cottages and rebuilding with massive beach rentals.

The house was way smaller than expected, but the location was perfect, just as advertised. The house has few kitchen supplies. And the linen rental raises the final price. But all in all it was worth the price.
