The Old Village Hall, finished in 1929, was used as a court house, jail house, and fire house and now has become a living space. This is the lower level of the building, complete with a fireplace and laundry, one king bed, one queen bed, and one queen roll out. There is a patio with a fire pit, and enough room to park your truck and boat, four wheelers or snowmobile. In close proximity to Spirit Mountain and Mont Du Lac ski resorts, as well as Jay Cook State Park and the Munger Trail. The Oliver and Boyscout boat landings to the St. Louis River are just down the road. This river will take you into Lake Superior. If fishing is your interest, book an outing with Houston's Guide Service. We are 20 minutes from the Canal Park, Park Point areas in Duluth.

The property was very clean and comfortable. The outside seating area was quite nice. The location was great for us … near parks and the aquarium. We would return!

We enjoyed our long weekend stay. It was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. We really enjoyed the fire pit and grill.
It is a ten minute drive to the town of Superior and a 20 minute drive to Duluth.
This location is close to train tracks so you do hear them throughout the evening. A fan and/or sound machine helps greatly if you aren't used of the noise.
All in all it was a great stay, it met all of our needs and the host was very easy to communicate with.
PS: We stopped at the two watering holes near by and everyone was kind. (:

We came up to enjoy Duluth and the surrounding area. We found this location to be convenient to the city and surrounding areas. The space was very clean and had all the amenities. It looked recently remodeled and the neighborhood appeared safe and quiet. We really thought the building was cool and slept REALLY WELL in the comfortable beds. Thanks for everything. We would love to return.
