About this house rental
Tattnall Street is an often missed gem among the streets of Savannah, overshadowed by the cobblestones of Jones Street, which Southern Living Magazine dubbed “America’s prettiest street.” This quintessential Southern street will will make you feel like you’re coming home.
You’ll enter into the foyer, which has stairs leading to the second floor, a hallway that leads back to the kitchen, and opens to the living room to your right. Past the living room is the dining room with seating for six. The upgraded kitchen has a convenient island with stools and a breakfast nook. Enjoy your morning coffee in a rocking chair on your private porch just off the kitchen.
Upstairs you’ll find three beautiful bedrooms. The bedroom at the top of the stairs has two twin beds, perfect for families with children. The second bedroom has a queen-sized bed and its own private porch. These two bedrooms share a bath, which has a wonderful clawfoot tub. Oakview Manor is a beautiful and stately, spacious, old home, on a gorgeous and quiet, oak-lined street. The home is in the western historic district. It is merely a few minutes drive to the heart of the historic River Street district and only two blocks walk to the iconic Forsyth Park. We were all very comfortable and enjoyed our stay immensely. We look forward to staying here, again. We highly recommend breakfast or lunch at Collins Quarter in Forsyth Park - every bite is heavenly!
