This cottage boasts vaulted ceilings and not only looks spacious but actually is. AC has been upgraded to a mini split system located in living room. Not stand alone unit as seen in dated pictures.

Delightfully decorated to inspire sun and surf fun. Kitchen ready for delicious meals, small shared deck for serene coffee mornings. All you expect from a hotel stay in a quaint neighborhood a stroll from sunsets. Beach gear, games, smart TV. Close to freeways and local attractions.

This one bedroom is nestled in the heart of Ocean Beach. This unit is one of the four in the complex. The other units are occupied by year round tenants who have come to appreciate and enjoy the quite community they have created.

Ocean Beach is a lovely beach community where vacationers have been coming to for years. Park the car and walk to everything you need. Newport Avenue is our main drag and boasts great restaurants, happening bars and excellent antiquing opportunities.

Ocean Beach in the flight path of the San Diego airport. Planes can begin taking off at 6:30 am and the last departures typically occur around 11:30 pm. There is a curfew in place that prohibits departures between 11:30 pm and 6:30 am.

Property was perfect for our weekend getaway. Walked everywhere even to 8am Mass at Sacred Heart on Sunday. Had all the beach things for our use, even a backpack cooler.

This is a fantastic location. It's a block from the beach. We had what we needed to enjoy time at the beach (chairs, towels, umbrellas). The house was well stocked with everything we needed. Everything was as described, and we didn't have any difficulty accessing what we needed. My only complaint was that it was unseasonably warm in San Diego, and the main bedroom doesn't have a separate AC unit. This likely isn't a problem often, but it was pretty warm in there. We used the fan provided to blow cool air in, and that helped. It was never significantly uncomfortable.

Wow, what a great week at the beach! Katrina is an excellent host. If you're looking for a turnkey rental property, this is it. Just bring your clothes and your toiletries, everything else is provided. From paper products, towels, hair and skin products to beach gear it's all waiting for you at this cottage. And quality products, not the inexpensive brands. We can't wait to spend another vacation at the cottage!

Super cute apartment! The location was literally a straight shot to the beach, stocked with everything, all you need is your clothes and food. Check in instructions and property rules are clear and easy. We didn't bring our pups on this trip but we certainly will bring them on our next trip. We met other guests who shared they are frequent renters and EVERY stay they've had at this property is fabulous. We will definitely be back to this property!

This places is the cutest cottage(s) EVER! Just one block from the beach and you’ll find everything you need for a day at the beach on the property! Extremely easy to get to AND has a parking garage per unit! We parked our car and Uber’d everywhere. Parking is a nightmare which sets this property apart from many others. Everything is 15 mins away from this place and Ubers every three minutes. I cannot think of one thing this cottage was short of! I love the environmental consciousness of area! It’s simply beautiful on the porch for coffee in the morning or wine in the evening.

Where to start… as soon as we arrived we were greeted by Katrina, the owner, who personally oriented us to the condo and the facilities. She even helped us bring in our luggage and helped us with parking in the garage. She is incredibly nice! The complex that contains 4 units is all contained with in one little oasis area blocked off from the street by fencing. Our unit, Grant’s Getaway, had such cute styling and was very homey. It had all we needed for a comfortable stay, and even had all the beach gear you could want or need! We had a wonderful stay for the July 4th holiday weekend exploring OB and surrounding area, and loved our home base for the weekend! Would certainly return to this complex to any one of Katrina’s Katrina’s rental units!

My 16 year old son and I really enjoyed our stay. Cottage was super clean and comfortable, and our host provided great instructions. Beautiful little garden complete with a lemon tree. Funky, fun neighborhood with lots of great restaurants. Pizza Port was one of our favourites and offered great gluten free pizza and excellent local beer.

The space is nicely decorated with comfortable furniture and a cozy feel. And it’s a block and a half from the water, with accommodations to rinse off at after a day on the sand. The host was most responsive and provided thorough and clear instructions for everything from check in to WiFi. What I liked best was the fact the place is colorful and attractive; not worn and old looking like other places I’ve seen and rented in the area. And it is walking distance to shops and restaurants. We’ll definitely be back!

Loved it that there’s a garage that’s steps from the apartment. Apartment was so cozy with everything we needed. Neighbors were quiet too. Coffee, food and grocery were like 2 to 4 blocks away. Loved to see all the dogs while we walked to coffee. There were unhoused people on the beach but I believe that’s a nationwide concern. Enjoyed our stay.

This was a great little cottage, just a couple of blocks from the beach. Terrific location and met our needs completely. Very clean, nice sitting area. Our only complaint is the bedroom could use air conditioning. The main room is air conditioned, but the fan just didn’t do it for us. Other than that, this cottage was great, very clean and very comfortable.

The neighborhood is “bohemian” but we didn’t drive anywhere since everything is within easy walking distance. Dog +people had a great trip!

Location to the beach was great plus all the restaurants that are within walking distance. Dog beach was fun too. House is very private despite other attached homes, the area is also very quiet during the night. House was clean, cute, and comfortable. Downside. Jets start flying over about 5:30/6am. Bed was uncomfortable. If you allergies to cleaning supplies or detergent, be for warned. We had to use inhalers often due to sensitivity of the detergent used to clean bedding.
