Great location if you want to be close to Chiado, Cais do Sodré, and the main tourist attractions. A little bit noisy at this time, but as we use earplugs, it didn’t bothered us. The kitchen is well equipped, the balcony is nice, and the view is very “lisboetan”.

The apartment is on the third floor and there is no elevator, which can be an issue with luggage or for anyone with mobility concerns. The mattresses are quite saggy—it feels like sleeping in a hammock, even though they are soft and the bedding is decent. The bathrooms left a lot to be desired. In the suite, the bathtub was completely clogged, and there is no mirror at all, neither in that bathroom nor in the bedroom. They could add a mirror on the wall behind the bathroom door or a movable one, especially so men can shave. In the second bedroom, there is a small leak near one of the windows—a drip that even leaves a mark on the floor, showing it’s been there for a while. The curtains on some of the windows and doors in the second bedroom don't close completely, letting in too much light at dawn. There is no intercom system between the building's main entrance and the apartment. We had an issue with an Amazon delivery that got lost because the courier couldn't reach us, even though we were inside the apartment all day waiting for it.

The management decided to change the outside door lock, we were not notified by anyone. wWe came back to the apartment around 9 pm at night after walking the city all day to find out we couldn’t get in. I texted the owner and apparently they didn’t know it either. Thankfully the first floor guest opened the door for us after we knocked on his windows as no one wanted to answer their ring bells either. that was a bit scary with all of our stuff in the apartment and us having to leave for the airport early morning. There was also broken dining chair and a table with a hole in it concealed by a decorative bowl.
