Welcome to “Somewhere in the Sun” a beachfront condo Unit 2004 at Sunrise Beach!
This gorgeous Panama City Beach vacation rental condo offers incredible views of the beach and sleeps up to 9 comfortably. And the good news is that the owners have made a number of upgrades which makes this condo even more special including nearly all new furniture and new paint! The condo features two nicely sized bedrooms, a unique bunkroom with a door that offers privacy, and two full bathrooms. The master bedroom has a gulf view with a balcony access. Another rare aspect of this condo is a large laundry room located just off the kitchen. An open concept kitchen, dining area, and living room are spacious and all offer spectacular views of the gulf. Walk out onto the oversized balcony from the living room for a view of the world’s most beautiful beach!
Elevator modernization will be going on (2 elevators will be shut down while the others are up and running) until 5/18/2026.

We had a excellent experience. Very clean condo, great pool and beach access. Excellent view of the beach and ocean. I highly recommend staying at Somewhere in the Sun!

This condo was very spacious, great location, nice amenities and beautiful view for a family vacation.

The location and property were nice there were quite a few things I was not happy with. One being that online it stated that there was not a parking fee yet the day of I called to see if I could get a early check-in and was informed there was a parking fee that I would have to pay. I also had to check-in at the office instead of carefree check-in as stated online, I understand there are circumstances that come into play but that should be listed online.
Secondly for the bunk bed room, nothing online stated that the TV in this room was setup for DVD ONLY that the cable would not work in that room so that was fairly disappointed to find out and that none of the cables for the TV in that room or the internet were plugged in and it was a tangled mess behind it.
The floors to the condo were sandy as if they had not been properly cleaned and the couches (which I was informed was a reason for the delay because they were to be cleaned) were not looking as if they were properly clean and had trash and debris in the couches.
My dad found mold on the inside of the shower curtain in the front bathroom which I did call and report and was fixed within a reasonable amount of time but still should not have been there in the first place. The ice maker for the freezer did not work properly and the garbage disposal also would not dispose of trash which they came after we left to fix (I assume).
One thing as well that was fairly disappointing was that checking in at the office I was not informed that there would be no water from 8 pm to 6 am due to a main line being repaired, yet it was posted in the elevator when we went into the condo which after not being able to check-in until after 5 did not leave much time for anything.
The beds were obviously well slept in and very uncomfortable as you had the indention from previous bodies sleeping in the same spot.
Overall the view was amazing just as stated and it was spacious enough for my family to have stayed in, but again would've been nice to have been informed of the many things that were not properly taken care of. Especially with being charged such a high cleaning fee would expect the condo to be properly cleaned prior to arrival.
