Lounge on the deck, watch it all from the living room or walk down the stairs to get your toes in the sand! This home overlooking the Pacific Ocean has two private masters, king and queen beds, with an additional sleeping den with twin daybed. This is NOT grandma's house! Living room fireplace, master bedroom fireplace AND 2nd television. Cozy CLEAN bedding! NOTE: IF YOU ARE REQUESTING TO BRING A PET PLEASE SUBMIT DETAILS. Our spotless home has been newly updated with paint and flooring and newer furnishings. Come and experience the changing seasons of the Pacific. Stand on the grass and look south down the entire coast! A private beach and cove right on the Pacific Ocean with crashing surf, rocks to climb and afternoon tide pools to explore along with a secret beach cave! Spectacular views and ocean air from almost every window! Wake up to seals barking on the rocks! Take the nearby stairs (out the front door, turn right, walk to the fence/sign.)to the private beach to explore, swim, collect shells and driftwood, dig for clams, or watch whales. Lounge on the deck with a book and get full benefit of the view and ocean air or do the same in a rocking chair by the fire! Our one touch heat pump and two fireplaces make the cozy, well cared for furnishings extra cozy. Bring your bikes!

The refrigerator is very loud - needs repair or replacement.And the kitchen could have been stocked better, but otherwise everything was fine

View! Beach! Hot Tub! Fireplace! Repeat we did! Brookings, OR is a magical place and this beach rental did not disappoint! It had everything one would need to be comfortable. There’s a Fred Meyer a few miles away & we prepared all our own meals easily in the well stocked kitchen. There was even a coffee grinder for fresh coffee in the am. We used the ping pong table, hot tub & fireplace every day & only a 7 minute walk down to the beach! There’s even a bike to ride! Our only regret is having to leave! Thank you Mike & Cathy! A hosts!!!

Beautiful beach view! We loved the private beach access as well as the hot tub on the deck. The house had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We’d stay here again if ever in the area.

Overall, our stay was good the things that I was not happy about was that we look forward to having a jacuzzi to enjoy with the kids and three days before our stay we were notified that the jacuzzi had not been working for months and we were given the option to cancel our stay which would have ruined Easter and our trip for our family. I think the owners should have declared in advance the jacuzzi was not working. Also, there is not much privacy as the neighbors' deck is litterly in the yard to this home and there's no avoiding it. The ad also makes it look like the stairs to the beach are right outside this home or on the property they are not you after to walk around another home down a path to the stairs that are in questionable shape with berry bushes growing through the stairs, my granddaughter got splinters in her hand holding on to the rail because they are so weather damages. As well as we were there to relax and when my Fiancé was sitting on the deck relaxing a contractor came to work on the property and any work on the house should be done when there are no renters. The house is smaller than it looks and the removed the door to enter the garage to claim a third Bedroom, so you have to walk outside into the garage to do laundry which is so inconvenient. The list also said there was a gym and there was not. There also is no gas grill there is a charcoal grill but no charcoal to use to cook outside. I would not stay here again.
