About this apartment rental

Our studio is convenient to all the wonderful activities, beaches and scenery the North Shore of Kauai has to offer. Featuring queen bedding, flat screen TV, fully remodeled bath in Oct 2024, mini frig, microwave, toaster, and lanai making it the perfect spot for your memorable Hawaiian retreat. In the complex there is a large swimming pool, hot tub and barbecue area close to the unit and available for your use. Also close by are bars and restaurants, world famous beaches great for swimming, surfing, snorkeling and standup paddleboarding and world class golf.

Princeville is a great location for walks around the golf course. We had access to the pool, the tenant allowed us to use beach towels, snorkeling gear, sun umbrella and boogie boards. unit is very clean and provided all the essentials, no laundry machines nearby however.

Nice complex, quaint studio. Lovely pool. Location great for heading north and back to town. Convenient foodland, shops and dining options. Perfect for long weekend.

I loved the area of this location. It’s a peaceful and beautiful location that’s close to a few beaches, hikes, shopping, and restaurants. The property manager was really helpful and responsive. I had accidentally locked myself out of the property, and the property manager managed to help me back in while also being in a different state at the time. I would absolutely book this place again!

This was the least expensive place I could find on Kauai, but it was still nice: clean, quiet, comfortable, and bug-free (I'm terrified of bugs, and there are a lot in Kauai). It's perfect for a couple, and everything needed was provided, including the bonus items like beach chairs and snorkel masks listed in previous reviews. The owners are being very generous to offer this place at such a low price!

We were pleasantly surprised to find extra outdoor equipment in the closet. There were masks, snorkels, a backpack, two beach chairs etc. This is a nice touch for those of us traveling by air with limited resources once we arrived. Very much appreciated. Thank You

We had such a nice time. The location was convenient and hosts were very pleasant and helpful! Pretty much anything you could need was in the condo which was very nice! Stayed with my fiancé and it was exactly what we needed at a very affordable price. Without this condo we probably wouldn’t have been able to make this trip happen. Thank you!!!!

Unit fit our needs. Comfortable and clean with the exception of the shower. Shower needed the mold cleaned and shower floor needed bleached. Did report this directly to owner. (may need a new house keeper). Had plenty of dishes and utensils for the basic microwave, toaster and coffee set up. Unit was was nicely located by pool and plenty of parking. . Owner provided a nice selection of maps and suggestions of local places and provided coolers and beach toys to use, We would stay here again

The Good: -Beautiful and quiet neighborhood -Fully stocked with beach gear -Great pool / hot tub -Convenient parking right outside room -Comfortable bed -Great price for the area -Foodlands (Grocery Store) right around the corner -Close to Hanalei -Lanai was frequented by a friendly cat The Bad: -No beaches within convenient walking distance (but many are in close driving distance) -Room is quite small (perfect for a solo traveler or a couple who don't mind sharing space). -Lots of clutter below the TV. The spot for the coffee maker was on top of the microwave and adjacent to an electrical tv box. Not ideal when filling up the coffee maker with water and having to be sure not to spill the water onto electrical components. -I feel like the table is too large for the room, especially considering the previous comment. Why have a 4 person table in a tight room that can only fit 1-2 comfortably? There must be a way to better utilize that space, especially since there is a microwave, coffee maker, toaster, and paper towel dispenser all stacked together below the TV. -Wished the room had AC during the mid-day heat. Could not rely on the overhead fan or breeze to keep cool. -Decorative pillows smelled used the first day. I put them off to the side but still worth mentioning. Maybe it was just my nose. -Fridge smelled strongly of mustard (but worked fine). I had a wonderful stay and would not hesitate to stay here again if in the area. Please take my criticisms constructively, none of them were significant in my opinion and I only bring them up to try to help improve the guest experience. Mahalo!

We really enjoyed the island of Kauai. Sadly our room was not as enjoyable. The shower was very dirty. All of the kitchen ware was dirty. It was very hard to get ahold of the property manager. There was no ac but a box fan which we assumed ac would be present even though not listed. Overall for the price it was disappointing as we stayed there for 9 nights. Luckily without the low price we couldn't have afforded this honeymoon. So an OK room for an amazing trip.

Your location was perfect in size and location for us. I would say our only comments would be to add an ironing board and a second key for additional guests. Also the shower floor could use an update. We just weren’t sure if it was dirty or not. Otherwise we would definitely stay there again, very charming little place.

It had all the amenities one could possibly expect for the small unit we rented, and then some. The rooms were clean and bed was comfortable. When the coffee maker quit, they provided a new one the next day. Administratively, they are very well organized if you communicate by text (we didn't need to explore other options). The pool and grounds are nice, and well kept. The only negatives were the very poor sound insulation between units, and the fact that the opening of our screen door overlapped with that of the next unit, which was at right angles, so people couldn't enter and/or exit both units at the same time if they wanted to. There were also two issues a previous renter reported that they came to fix but couldn't: a poorly fitting sliding screen door to the patio, and sticking sliding doors on the closet. My wife thought it smelled musty but I didn't notice--but she could probably hire herself out as a bloodhound. We would certainly consider staying here again.

This little studio was exactly the home base we needed while exploring Kauai. Nothing fancy but had everything we needed. Good location within walking distance to Queen's Bath and Hideaways Beach. Walls are thin and you can definitely hear your neighbors, especially if they have crying toddlers. Fortunately, there's a box fan in the closet, and it helps to drown out some of the noise. There is also a friendly cat who we called Jeffrey that would hang around the lanai. He was the highlight of the rental.

We really enjoyed our stay in the studio. It is small, but works out nicely with a surprisingly spacious lanai. You are less than a mile to the queens bath which made a convenient walk and 2 miles to hideaway beach. There is no a/c, but with the ceiling fan and additional fan we were never uncomfortable. The only issue was the noise if you are trying to get to bed early. Children were playing out front until about 8:30-9, but after they went into their condo it was very peaceful.

My fiance and I stayed at the Sand Piper village while we were in Kaua'i. It was a very nice and beautiful area around us. It was very quite at night and I have no complaints about the noise. It was perfect if you plan to spend most of the day out of the house and outside. The only thing to keep in mind with this place would be to understand how small it is. A mini fridge, no dishwasher or washer and dryer. For just the two of us, it worked perfectly! Just a heads up for anyone else looking at this place. I would recommend it and would stay again, we had a lot of fun! Thank you!!

Great for young couples! Tips: Park on the left side when you drive in Sandpiper village, not in the marked stall for the unit. Enjoy eating breakfast on the private back patio. Eat breakfast nearby at the Village Snack shop, get plate lunch in the same shopping area at L&Ls, then finish off nextdoor at Jojo's for the best shave ice on Kauai or Oahu. Enjoy the beach amenities provided including some basic snorkel gear and beach chairs.
