Absolutely perfect, sunsets from the apartment were next to nothing and never failed to impress.

There were so many wonderful things about this unit, but the 2 major issues overshadowed them. The fact that almost every incoming airplane, up to 33 per day according to the airport, flew low directly over the deck and roof, made this unit extremely noisy. It was often too noisy to sit on the deck as the planes often approached within 2 minutes of each other. THE FLIGHT PATH ISSUE WAS NOT MENTIONED IN THE LISTING. Dishonest. The other major issue was the deceptive listing photo of the CRUISE SHIP location. It is NOT off to the side mostly out of view. Every day they sit directly in front of the deck completely obscuring the view of the ocean. They often arrive early morning and don't leave until 5:00 p.m. At least we were able to watch the sunsets without obstruction (they have to leave before that time) but the noisy planes remained awful. It should be noted that there is no access to the boardwalk directly in front of this building. The positives include a spacious beautifully decorated and furnished unit, a well-lit bathroom, very comfortable master bed, ample kitchen condiments and bathroom soaps, etc. There was no hand dishwashing soap so we left the one we bought along with a few new spices.

Sunset Dalite is a lovely condo in a fabulous location. The condo itself was clean, modern and well stocked with everything we needed for our stay. The building was very quiet and located in the perfect spot for us. It was only a 5-7 minute walk to upper Duval St., but removed enough to be very peaceful with beautiful water views. We received excellent communication from the property management about check-in. We arrived on a Saturday (when the office was closed), but Stacy gave us all the information we needed to retrieve everything we needed to access the property. We will definitely stay here again the next time we come to Paradise!

After they put the palm trees in the waterfront park, this condo is one of the few left with great views of the harbor and sunset from anywhere in the condo. It was very clean and well equipped. The view could not have been better for Key West. We saw the sunset every night from our living room and it was the best. Place was clean and well stocked. We had a problem reaching Compass and the check in was very confusing. No one returned my call until 10 PM when we had already figured out how to get in and found the email that has been sent. Apparently someone had forgotten the emergency line in the office and didn’t retrieve it until late on checking day. Other than that our stay was wonderful and the location of this unit is fabulous!

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great location: you can walk to Mallory Square and most areas to eat. HOWEVER!:

You have to have a key to get in the building from the parking garage, a different key to get in the unit, a different key to get in the pool, and a different key to get in the gate to access the boardwalk.
We didn't have a pool key upon arrival at 3pm, and the property manager suggested to call security and they could get one the NEXT DAY BY NOON. You can get anywhere you want to in Key West in 5 minutes so this was absurd.

The dryer didn't work, the half bath in the front of the condo didn't work, and the iron was broken.

It took the 3rd day of our stay for management to have our wifi up, and the TV on for use. The TV in the 2nd bedroom was a 19" computer monitor.

This was a 25 year old condo that needs a lot of attention for $5000 / week rental.

FYI, the only reason we needed rides was to get to Parrot Key for a jet ski excursion and to get to the airport, as everything else is walkable.

Couple things I would fix with condo is new ceiling fans, when on high which they need to be make it sounds like a bowl of rice crispies snap, crackling and popping. The arm of the patio chair was also broken and there weren't any kitchen towels. So really no complaints overall! Love staying in this complex and have for many years.

You have access to a great pool. As with any unit in the Truman Annex you are in walking distance to the great restaurants and bars on Key West, (no car needed). You can watch the sunset with drink in hand from the deck and listen to quiet settle in as the sun disappears.
This year was especially great because there were NO Cruise Ships!

away from the activity of Duval Street although close enough to easily walk to Duval.
We enjoy escaping each year to Keywest and away from the cold temperatures where we live too many months of the year.

Reviewer Comments: The unit was fine and the location excellent but the ceiling fans in both bedrooms were VERY LOUD and the ceiling fan in the living room did not go above a low speed. The unit owners requested the temperature be no lower than 74 degrees but with the issues with the ceiling fans that was not possible. Also, the kitchen sink drained very slowly. Also had an issue with parking. The security company called us because they were going to work on the pipes above our spot and asked us to move our car. I asked if we could put it in a visitors spot overnight and was told that was fine but still received a violation notice the next morning.

I especially liked and enjoyed the covered deck. Great location. Close to nightlife yet just far enough away from the action to enjoy a quiet night at home. Have stayed in this unit before and will stay in it again!
