Best of all, this home is nestled in the Truman Annex, a palm tree lined residential community with many historic buildings including the Truman Little Whitehouse, walking distance to many of Key West’s finest dining establishments, two blocks from the world-famous Duval Street, two blocks from the nightly sunset celebration at Mallory Square, and less than a half mile from the beach at Fort Zachary Taylor State Park. The double set of sliding glass doors on the back of the home open up to provide a private spacious tropical oasis of indoor/outdoor living space with a private pool. A large flat screen HD SMART TV hangs on the wall in front of comfortable seating options. The fully equipped kitchen has all the appliances and tools needed to prepare meals at home, on those nights that you chose to dine home with your pick of indoor or outdoor dining.

My husband and I, along with our son and daughter-in-law, stayed here for 4 nights. We all loved the home and felt very comfortable. Its clean, nicely furnished and designed and stocked very well with towels, kitchen appliances and toiletries. It has a Key West vibe with beautiful art work but again, felt like home. We did not need to buy extra paper towel or toilet paper for the time spent there. The house comes with one spot which was right around the corner. Directions on coming and going and what needed to be done were very clear. Texts to the owner, Don, were responded to fast. The best part was the location, just 2 short blocks from Duval and the center of everything. We walked everywhere! The pool is also very beautiful and there is a gas grill along with 2 bikes. There isn’t anything I can say that I wish were different about the home. There are 2 bedrooms but the couch was very comfortable as each night someone ended up sleeping on it. There is also a couch in the welcome room in front that could be used for a guest if need be. I’d definitely stay here again. Thanks Don!!!!

This property was very nice and well appointed. The location is great to get everywhere you would like to go on in Key West. The private patio and pool were great to come back to after a warm day walking to the nearby restaurants, museums, and bars!The owner was very helpful and quick to respond via text message. This was meant to be a relaxing vacation and it was. The pool was perfect and the proximity to downtown was ideal. The host was responsive and helpful. Overall, it was just what I needed and allowed me to relax, recharge, and enjoy the local area.

This is probably the best rental property we’ve stayed in. It was extremely comfortable and well equipped. Very tastefully decorated and absolutely immaculate - it looked brand new with no signs of wear and tear whatsoever. The location is ideal within the Truman Annex gated estate which is a little oasis of calm but only a few minutes walk to Duval with its many excellent restaurants and bars. We appreciated the allocated parking space - parking in Key West is generally a challenge. The pool is small but was heated to a nice temperature. Don was an excellent host - very responsive and provided a useful list of suggested bars restaurants and things to do a couple of months in advance. I really can’t find any fault with this property, we will definitely return.

We had the best time at this property, which was located just a couple blocks away from Duval Street. We easily walked to restaurants and shops. The home is very comfortable, nicely decorated, and has two primary suites with en-suite bathrooms. This was perfect for two couples traveling together. The pool in the backyard was a welcome respite after a day of sight-seeing. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to spend our vacation!

We stayed in this beautiful home during our Key West vacation and couldn’t have been more pleased. Don, our host, was quick to respond, was fantastic with any questions we had and was so helpful with suggestions for places to eat, things to do, etc. The home itself was very clean and all of the furniture was updated and so comfortable, with a great, well stocked kitchen. Location-wise, this place can’t be beat. We parked the car (comes with a parking spot!) and walked everywhere the entire time. Mallory Square and Duval Street are so close, as are tons of shops and restaurants. We loved everything about this beautiful home!

We stayed at this home during the Songwriters Fest this past week/weekend. This house was PERFECT!! It allowed us to go into town to see some acts and come back to relax on the beautiful patio, then head back out for more. We could not have asked for a more perfect location for everything but away from the hectic Duval Street. Our host's communication was on point and we will definitely be back next year! Thank you.

Amazing property. Appears to have been completely remodeled recently. Everything seemed brand new. The courtyard out back was perfect. Nice dipping pool and it was very sheltered from the wind. We could see the trees blowing, but it was nice and calm for sitting. Provided good shade all day too access to Duval was perfect, just straight down Flemming. My personal favorite is that it was less than five minutes to the Green Parrot!!!

Our hosts were terrific - kind, accommodating, and very accessible/responsive. At each step along the way, it was clear that they genuinely wanted to ensure we had the best experience, and we did indeed. We are a group of friends who have been coming to Key West with some regularity for an almost 20 years. With certainty, this was the most enjoyable experience, and our accommodation and hosts really anchored such. The condo is delightful and so welcoming. You can tell attention is paid to every detail, right down to the art work from the host woven through the condo. We’d be back in a heartbeat!

This place is beautiful. Had some hiccups in the process and some discouraging routes. First, we paid the additional money to have the pool heated to arrive and it not be heated at all. Had to reach out to the owner and have him walk me thru how to heat everything. I shouldn't have had to do this. Finally able to use the pool a day later and then the construction started on the house behind the pool. They worked and banged and beeped all week exept Thanksgiving day. Then, just watched us in the pool are when they were up on the scaffold like machine. Uncomfortable. Overall, the trip was great, the house is beautiful and clean, and everything you need. Just ask for confirmations on construction before you spend extra money heating the pool that you may not use because you can't enjoy it for all the noise.
