About this house rental

Welcome to Waitts Lake Vacation Rental .Open all year ! The water is very shallow where the house is located and swimming is not advised. However boating small fishing boats or kayaks are fine .. absolutely no diving as the water is only about 4 feet deep at the end of the dock.

Rent for two nights, the week, or for the entire month! This could be your romantic getaway!

This two-bedroom two bath home feature's granite counter-tops and cherry maple cabinetry. Leather two seat sofa, bar stools and small table for Playing games . Fresh linens-Washer Dryer-Towels-Micro-Coffee Maker-Wi-Fi Starlink. This is an A-frame home with large windows and a nice deck . The house is shielded with trees and offers privacy from the lake . However, the dock and water is only about 20 feet away . The downstairs bedroom has a queen bed and the upstairs bedroom has a queen bed.

If you wish to BBQ I do have a propane BBQ

There are two resorts on the lake, Winona North great for swimming and fishing.
There is a small Grocery store within three miles of the cabin.
Chewelah offers many restaurants and Safeway. There are two towns within 10 miles, which offer great amenities such as; grocery stores, restaurants (Mexican, gourmet eatery, or fast food..

During the summer, months enjoy the lake, the Chewelah golf course, or casino. Winter months enjoy skiing at 49 degrees North
The Canadian border is only 60 miles away!

We had a girls weekend and this was the prefect place. This time of year it was quite and peaceful every morning. Sitting on the deck, drinking coffee, and listening to the birds was the best way to start the day.

Easy check in process. Great communication. House is as expected and no surprises. Lots of pots/pans/cooking items. We were a small group so had plenty of space. I would not bring a family of 6here though. View is great looking over lake. Showers hot and bathrooms clean. I would stay here again.

We stayed during winter to ski 49 Degrees North, but the lake access looked like it could be great in the summer too. Had a pair of bald eagles hanging out for a bit in the yard and lots of ducks and geese on the water.

My husband and I just got home from a stay at Joyce's lake house. We had such a fantastic time! We relaxed, explored the local towns and marveled over the most majestic sunrises. The cabin is beautiful, clean and has every comfort of home. I typically get a bit homesick on our trips, but I was actually sad to leave this morning. Thank you for a wonderful stay, and we can't wait for the next time!

My husband and I loved our stay! Joyce has done a great job with this place, good use of space, well appointed, well stocked. Each level has a bedroom and a bath. The main area is so nice, with an open kitchen, dining and living area. It's not super big, but plenty good size for two of us and would be fine for 1-2 more. The wall of windows is just wonderful! And the whole place was very clean! We also loved the outside and proximity to the lake - we have paddle boards and it was so nice to be so close to the water to take our boards in and out. The deck was also very comfortable and nice. Joyce was super easy to work with, very responsive and helpful! The lake isn't huge and has quite a bit of boat traffic - I like that this place is closer to the less inhabited side of the lake - we thoroughly enjoyed our water time as well. The water leading out to the end of the end of the dock is very shallow and looked like it would be mushy/muddy, but we just put our boards in at the end of the dock and it worked wonderfully for us. We loved this place and would definitely stay again!

Accommodations were phenomenal.Joyce was a superb host! The house is super cute and stocked with everything you need. We went down to Silver Resort (just down the road) to swim and rent kayaks and a boat. The gravel trucks were noisy but we knew that going in. Overall great vacation! This property is right on the lake with lots of windows facing the lake. The house is outfitted with what you need to prepare meals and do laundry. It's on the smaller side, but plenty of space for at least 4 to 5 people. One main floor bathroom and bedroom and one second floor bathroom and bedroom. Open floor plan and fireplace that allows use of Duralogs or presto logs, which keeps clean up easy. We plan to stay there again.

This was a wonderful little place complete with everything we could possibly need with the exception of a crock pot! Clean and very comfortable. House close to road which made all the trucks going back and forth seem awfully loud. Not much one can do to remedy this but I did quickly learn to shut the road noise out. Beautiful fall, long weekend! Made friends with a wonderful mallard. Happy to eat beans, peas, cabbage, cucumber and banana! His name is Melvin just in case someone sees him! Would love to stay again. Next time a little longer.

The home was beautiful and very well kept, and just as expected from pictures. The location is stunning, and would be great for kayaking, and close to riding trails. The home was equipped pretty well with the usual needs, including dishes, coffee pot, microwave, etc. The owner is very kind and helpful, and we appreciated her prompt communication. We had a really great time there, wish we could have stayed longer!

Joyce was so easy to work with. Her home was beautiful and super clean. We also appreciated that it was well stocked with the things we needed. We would stay there again. In fact we have already started recommending it to friends.
