Outdoor area and Swimming pool
In front of the house you will find a nice fenced lawn, where children can run and play and where you can use the table and chairs for outdoor breakfasts. In the garden there is also the swimming pool, 7 metres by 14 with a depth of 1.1-2.7 metres, completely enclosed for childrens’ safety. The poolside has a paved bathing area with sunbeds, a beach umbrella and a cold water shower. The house also boasts a loggia which was originally an old barn, furnished for outdoor meals. Il Casaletto has been restored with original materials typical of a farmhouse, where possible. The furniture is simple and maintains the charm of a country house. The house is on two floors. Upon entering, two steps take you down to room which was originally a stable, simply furnished with tables and perfect for kids to play on rainy days, a bedroom with two beds with an old oven for bread and access to the garden, a bathroom with shower, bathtub and double sink, a washing room with washing machine. A wooden staircase leads to the first floor (there is also an outdoor staircase) with a kitchen/dining room with antique stone sink, a living room with TV, two double bedrooms of which one with bathroom with shower, one bedroom with two beds, one bathroom with shower.

Location
The farmhouse is part of an important Tuscan estate belonging to the same family since 1637. The farm is a nature reserve, where it's likely to see fallow deer, roe deer and other animals calmly grazing in the fields. You have a great view of the fields and the large enclosed park which surround the estate.

The house has Wi-Fi, central heating, baby bed, high chair, hairdryer, complimentary toiletries in the bathrooms, mosquito screens and air conditioning in all bedrooms, parking in the property.

The price includes: bathroom, bedroom and kitchen linen (changed weekly), internet, water, gas, electricity, final cleaning, high chair. Upon request and to be paid for at the property are personalized cooking courses, hired help, wine and food tastings and, in the right season, truffle searching and tasting. A typical country restaurant owned by the estate is just 200 metres away, where you can have lunch at a great price.

You are in the heart of Tuscany and reaching the various towns and cities is easy. The SGC (motorway without toll charge) is perfect for getting to Florence, Pisa and Livorno. The "Teatro del Silenzio" (Theatre of Silence), by the project of Andrea Bocelli is within easy reach: an amphitheatre excavated in the beautiful Lajatico hills- a scenic jewel of Volterra hinterland. We suggest visiting Volterra, a beautiful Etruscan town, as well as San Gimignano in the same day. You must spend a whole day in Siena. The coast is also near, with areas like Versilia and the Etruscan coastline south of Livorno.
