Perfect in every way

Perfect stay, fully enclosed garden for the dogs 2 min walk to the beach. Extremely clean and kitted out with everything you would need. Highly recommended

Great place to stay in

The location was excellent. We liked the small garden and really appreciate the off street parking and quiet location. The place was clean overall and well maintained and had most of what we needed for our short stay. We really liked this place and we will be back when we visit this area again. The town and beach are both very nice too.

There's possibility of improvement in the following areas: - towels really tired-could be changed - bathroom mats were not too clean/fresh - there's coffee machine but no coffee pods- for a short stay there's no point for me to buy the whole pack of coffee pods, especially when arriving late. As a coffee addicted person I would happily skip all others extras left for guests (tea and sweets) for a couple of coffee pods. I would be happy to pay for them extra too. - it took me a while to work out how to turn on heaters, especially the bathroom one and the hob- hob managed only with the host's help. Instructions included in the Welcome folder could be a good idea. - on arrival we were confused with the door open-I had to call the host to check with him as just entering the property felt weird. I would prefer to receive some instructions beforehand or just collect the keys with the code. Please treat that all as a constructive criticism- we liked the place and definitely would be back if in the area.

Easy to find, in a very village. Very pleasant hosts with great attention to detail. Off street parking and enclosed garden.

I personally like a tv in the bedroom as well as the lounge. As is common in France and Belgium there is only net curtains in the lounge so the electric shutters need to be closed in the evenings for privacy.

Fantastically beautiful holiday home, very close to the sea and lovingly furnished. We particularly liked the tasteful design of the rooms with vibrant wall colors, great tiles and beautifully selected furniture. The bathroom with shower is amazing. The landlords are very nice and were available for questions at any time and quickly. A bakery is within walking distance, for larger purchases you have to drive a little further. Very nice garden with seating and parasol invites you to stay outdoors. The entire area along the Opal Coast is fantastic for hiking and cycling. We felt very comfortable and would definitely come back.

Perfect stop over

We was amazed how perfect this house was for our stop over from the ferry, everything was very clean and comfortable and everything you needed was there! I packed little cleaning extras etc but nothing was needed. We received excellent friendly service and after a long journey we had a very nice suprise. The breakfast service was also lovely. The best stop over experience so far.

Good value, well equipped villa close to Eurotunnel

Very convenient for Eurotunnel. Well equipped and nicely furnished. Good garden although we only stayed one evening so didn't use it. Hosts spoke English and were very friendly. Just a short walk to the beach - good for families.

We were tired after a long drive and there were no instructions about how to get in. We had to phone up to be told the door was unlocked! We spent ages trying to work out how the radiators worked ( and then they didn't come on in the morning). We had to ring up for help in using the hob, which had a child lock on it. We never did get the towel rail nor the dishwasher to work. It would be helpful to have some instructions!

Sehr schön - friedlich und entspannt :)

Die Lage war sehr ruhig - der Garten sehr schön gut für unseren Hund. Die Strand nähe mit Promenade war ideal Der Bäcker ist auch keine 5 Minuten vom Haus entfernt (für uns war er leider geschlossen - Ferien) Der Gastgeber ist sehr sehr freundlich :) und die Schlüsselübergabe sehr einfach :) Wir haben es geliebt da zu sein und kommen auch sicher wieder.

Die Couche 😂 die war etwas hard und nach mindestens 10 kilometer Wanderung war man froh sich ein bisschen hinzusetzen :) Eine kleine Tischlampe wäre nicht schlecht :) dann muss man Abends nicht alle Lampen anschalten.

Absolut empfehlenswert!

Die Kommunikation mit dem Gastgeber war schon vor Ankunft sehr nett und zielgerichtet. Wir konnten problemlos weit vor der Zeit einchecken. Das Haus ist sehr liebe- und geschmackvoll eingerichtet, noch schöner als auf den Bildern. Man erricht den tollen Strand in wenigen Minuten, lange Spaziergänge ohne Leine haben auch unseren Hund sehr glücklich gemacht. Ebenso wie der Garten - gemütlich und fast nicht einsehbar mit einer zusätzlichen, windgeschützten Terasse vorm Schlafzimmer wo wir abends oft gegrillt haben. Da in einer Seitenstrasse gelegen ist es nachts absolut ruhig. Das Auto steht komfortabel in der Einfahrt. Vielfältige Einkaufsmöglichkeiten ab in 10 Autominuten erreichbar. -->>Wir haben jetzt schon für nächstes Jahr gebucht!

Wir hätten uns über zwei Sonnenliegen gefreut - in die sehr gemütliche Hänge-Schaukel passt leider nur eine Person ;-)

Heerlijk verblijf in alle rust

We hebben ontzettend genoten van ons verblijf in dit charmante vakantiehuisje. Alles was tot in de puntjes verzorgd: netjes, comfortabel en volledig uitgerust met alles wat je nodig hebt. De rustige ligging en de gezellige sfeer zorgden voor de ideale vakantie met ons gezin. Ook de eigenaars zijn bijzonder vriendelijk en behulpzaam – je voelt je meteen welkom. We zouden dit verblijf zeker aanraden aan anderen en komen hier graag nog eens terug!

Afstand tot het strand en de wandelboulevard. Warme bakker op de hoek. Goed restaurant op loopafstand. Mooie omgeving en bezoek aan Calais de moeite waard.

Wij waren met 2 personen voor 4 volwassenen woonruimte misschien iets aan de krappe kant.

Lekker plekje voor even rustig en verzorgd er tussenuit.

Rustige locatie. Dicht bij het strand. Zeer verzorgd huisje. Goed ontbijtje.

Ik had op voorhand niet de contact-telefoon om van onderweg te verwittigen dat we wat later zouden komen. Alleen een chatfunctie was ter beschikking, maar dat interageert niet instant natuurlijk. Uiteindelijk toch goed en vlot verlopen met goede eigen inbreng van de contactpersoon.
