The best location to walkable sights, restaurants, a grocery store, and the playground and beautiful coastal walk. The place was extremely comfortable and had everything we needed. The host was accommodating and helpful when we accidentally left our passports!!

This was my second time staying at Mavrogenous Apartments, and I wouldn’t think of staying anywhere else. For starters, Katerina is the most wonderful host. We stayed in apartment 4 upstairs, and it was pure luxury! The decor, amenities and overall spaciousness made our stay so enjoyable - we didn’t want to leave! :) The location is fabulous. So many shops and restaurants nearby and you can even walk to the beach.

The bed was very comfortable (big, the mattress was not too soft/not too hard, there were two different pillows to choose from for each person) and the room was very clean. The host was very friendly and available. The host also bought us breakfast from a bakery one of the days that she left on our door handle. The location is very central but also close to the street where parking was available. A great place to have coffee/dinner/drinks called Skarpeta is a few minutes away on foot. The A/C in the room was very effective and quiet.
The room has a relatively low ceiling and no sound isolation, as well as no view. You can hear everything from the street, cars going by, people talking, the door of the room leads directly to the street and has no soundproofing. Additionally planned work from the town was taking place outside our window for half of our stay, with really loud construction vehicles (some with sprockets!) that were excavating. We were not informed prior to arrival, and we weren't offered a discount for the days the construction went on, even after we complained to the host. We had to sleep with earplugs all night, which didn't drown the construction noise which woke us up in the morning. The cleaner came only once more during our 4-day stay and not every day. The bathroom was tiny and the shower uncomfortably small. Also, the fan of the bathroom which doesn't have any windows leads directly to the bedroom, but thankfully we didn't get any smell. We had family staying in another place 1 minute (80m) away from us also in the old Nafplio town, in a place with full soundproofing, bigger than ours, with a couch inside as well, with a balcony, with the cleaner coming every day and they paid 30 euros less per night compared to us!
