Kastro Residence

No keys, wifi smart lock (can't lock your keys inside the unit). Location is incredible, heart of old town Nafplio and an amazing view of Palamidi fortress. Very well appointed, clean kitchen, big shower. Top floor patio was a highlight. Highly recommend the restaurants on the same street as the front door - especially Kastro Karima. Only a 15 min walk from the large free parking lot at the port. Large grocery store only 10 mins away (closed Sundays). All floors have AC (the top floor is no obvious because it is not a wall mount unit - but it is there and works well).

Privacy for sleeping - there is one true bedroom with a door. The second sleeping "area" is the same floor as the bedroom, but has no door and the main bathroom opens right in front of the bed (single twin). The third "area" is semi-private with two twin beds upstairs (3rd floor), and it is a separate sleeping area but no door and open to the stairwell. So it all works well for a family, but travelling couples might find the lack of privacy tricky. Additionally the stairwell is "classically" european - small, narrow and spiral. We had no issues, but anyone with even the slightest mobility issues would find it a challenge.

Terrific stay in a very comfortable property, right at the edge of the old town. Quiet enough for sleeping but easy access to everywhere you’d want to be. Outstanding facilities and host. Highly recommended!

Nothing, just fair warning that the stairs are quite narrow but easy to navigate.

Es un apartamento súper completo y cómodo. Tiene un balcón con una vista preciosa de la fortaleza de Palamidi. El dueño muy atento, nos recibieron con una botella de vino. Además con una súper ubicación en el centro de Nafplio. Todo perfecto.
