Beautiful outside areas, lovely views. Great location for a family getaway.

Lots of steps, but worth it for the view.

The location and views are amazing. The hot tub was clean and ready to go on arrival (as requested) The house is open plan so is set up nicely for group parties and family get togethers.

Amazing communication with the host before arrival, I asked quite a few questions as was nervous because of the previous bad reviews. The house really does have the wow factor but it’s really tired in places and the cleaners are letting it down. The patio areas were covered in leaves and outside tile flooring was very dirty. The security light went off for the whole of the first night and needed cleaning (by me) the next day so people could sleep. The dishwasher needed some attention before it could be used. One of the ovens needed cleaning. It was grubby in places but the bedding and bathrooms were clean. The finer details have been missed, there were 10 of us but only eight forks, curtain poles hanging of the wall, bathroom floor downstairs was lifting and the sink was hanging off the wall. But the most concerning thing…one of our party fell through the bunkbed in the middle of the night while asleep…luckily no one was in the bottom bunk otherwise this could have potentially caused a serious injury (I did read in another review that someone else had a problem with this) The property could to be truly amazing, but when you pay the prices this place is demanding you expect more. We all really wanted to love the house more and despite the issues our birthday girl had an amazing weekend.

my only complaint was the hot tub. It was really dirty had not been cleaned. It's a shame because the rest of the day was amazing. It really is an amazing house and everything else is great there. I would stay again but I think they should take a bit more okay with a hot tub.

The house itself is beautiful, spacious, and has an incredible view. My family and I had a wonderful time here and really enjoyed our stay.

However, there were quite a few issues with the condition and cleanliness of the property, which unfortunately let the house down. The kitchen cupboards don’t align properly and therefore don’t close, while the fridge was dirty and the freezer was also dirty and heavily iced up. Some of the sink and shower plugs were clogged, causing the water to fill up in the basins, and the tap in the downstairs bathroom was broken. The hot tub was also dirty and had not been filled, and parts of the decking around the steps were coming apart, which felt like a potential safety concern. Cleanliness in particular was disappointing. I had noticed that this had been mentioned in previous reviews, but as it appeared to have been highlighted several times, I had expected these issues to have been addressed by now.
