We had a wonderful one-night stay at Amatè Suite in Lecce while attending a family wedding in Puglia. The rooms were spotless, comfortable, and in a perfect location.
A special thank you to Georgie, whose kindness, professionalism, and excellent English made our stay even more enjoyable. She welcomed us warmly, provided great local recommendations, and took wonderful care of us at breakfast. Georgie was a big part of what made our stay so memorable.

The room was lovely, the breakfast perfect and the location was great for exploring all that Lecce has to offer. Georgie was amazing and so helpful in helping us to maximize our visit and her suggestions for exploring Ostuni, the driving route to Gallipoli and driving the east coast to the tip of the boot .... absolutely made our visit. Thank you Georgie!
Parking was a bit of a challenge but only when we first arrived and I put it down to Google Maps and operator error LOL. You need to put in the complete city address NOT just the street. The room was lovely and well equipped but it was a bit dark. I would be nice to have somewhere to sit when you return from exploring. The reception area is shared with another room and quite small but with a few chairs it would be a nice place to relax.

Amatè Suite benefits from an excellent location, both close to the entrance to the historic centre (so easy to park outside and get in) and within easy walking distance of everything you'd want to see.
The suite we stayed in also enjoyed a very large bathroom and corresponding big shower, as well as two sinks. This felt luxurious compared to the small en suites we'd experienced elsewhere on our trip.
On the downside, the suite we stayed in suffered from a smell of damp (exacerbated by the towels), and it was hard to shift it with no window to the outside from the bedroom (there was a window in the bathroom, and a window into the central courtyard/breakfast area from the bedroom).
In addition, the WiFi was temperamental making planning the rest of our trip challenging. The host told us it "comes and goes" and while we discussed the possibility of ending our reservation early because of it, it returned in time to convince us to see out our stay.
