About this house rental
This home has 2 almost 900 sq ft great rooms w/ fully equipped kitchens, seating for 18 at meals @side. There are 2 large flat screen TVs, 2 large sofa, 2 large chairs, and a table w/4 chairs per side. All 4 oceanfront decks are furnished and there are 2 large gas grills at ground level for outside dining with a fantastic view and normally a great breeze. Ground level is entry way and grilling area. Second level has 8 BRs w/queen beds, 2 ocean front decks w/outside showers and a hot tub and 2 lanai w/sound views. Third level has 2 great rooms connected by doorways thru the kitchens and 2 oceanfront decks. Fourth level has 4 BRs, 2 w/queens and 2 designed for kids w/pyramid beds that are doubles on the bottom and singles on top. Renovated in 2019 after Florence and all new decking installed

We rented both sides of this perfectly adequate, somewhat dated house. We were with our kids & grandkids & were ok without fancy decor. Owner was responsive when I had questions. Living rooms were comfortable with relatively new sofas. TVs were up-to-date. Decent WiFi. Nice selection of books and toys, plus good board games. Kitchens were well stocked w/dishes, glasses, utensils, cookware. Nice well-maintained hot tub. HVAC/air conditioner worked well. Washers and dryers were modern, large. Bedrooms were small but adequate. Lots of extra blankets and comforters. Plenty of deck chairs and tables. Nice, wide beach & good walkway. Wonderful view of the beach/ocean. Lots of like-new boogie boards and other beach toys. Plenty of parking space. Elevator was very handy for moving in luggage and groceries.The quirky things: Dim lighting in living areas. Cat tower in 3734 living room very unappealing. Cat hair in the top bedrooms of 3734. Tricky to get hot water in the top floor shower in 3734. Both sides had dishwashers not attached to cabinets. They worked, but tipped away from cabinets when racks pulled out. 3736 kitchen faucet took a bit of fiddling to turn on. We never were able to get hot water from the 3736 primary bedroom faucet. Each side slept 13 people, but the dining tables each had seats for only 6. Multiple bathrooms had mildew on shower curtains and tiles. Throw rugs were threadbare/worn. Many of the curtains/draperies in bedrooms were flimsy, or falling apart.

We had fifteen family members and could have had several more too. Mario was so accommodating and quick to respond to any questions etc. I had. It was a great location and not far from shopping areas. The kitchen had about anything you could use. There was some cat hair in bedroom and a couple of grand kids had allergies but handled it with medicine. It was listed as pet friendly so have to expect that then. It was clean and we absolutely loved the outside elevator!! Would go again!! Thanks, Mario.

I was a bit disappointed about the size of the bedrooms, the shared bathrooms and the kitchen areas were a bit disorganized but overall it was a great vacation. Can't beat the price for a 12 bedroom house. Will probably return.

We had a large family group with 3 generations and pets and this place was perfect for us. We rented both sides and found it well equipped with everything we needed and plenty of space to stretch out. The owner and his son were very responsive to questions we had, even while the owner was recovering from an accident and they could have very understandably not been able to do so! Topsail island is my happy place, and this rental was no exception to our 25 years of awesome experiences there!
