Wonderful place to stay but a bit off the beaten track

Wow! What an amazing place. Fantastic room and staff who will do anything to make your stay memorable. Great breakfast, wonderful pool, terrific views. Claudine, the owner, is a wonderful host and we were very sad to leave. She organised transport and tours for us at very reasonable prices and couldn't do enough for us. Also, make the most of the free transport to and from some local restaurants. You won't regret it.

The access road is terrible, but we soon got used to being bumped around in the back of the pick-up taxis. It's not the fault of the property but something really does need to be done. Access to the property from where the taxi drops you off is down a very steep slope. Not a problem for us but if you have any sort of mobility problems you must bear that in mind. The WiFi was intermittent, especially in the afternoons. We were there during some very wet weather and I would imagine that was mostly responsible for the issue.

Amazing stay in La Gautch Bungalows

The owner was very communicative, provided us with a lot of information regarding the region, arranged scooters and a snorkeling trip and also arranged a ferry & transport towards Bali, all at very affordable prices. The breakfast was one the best ones we had during our travels in the region. The bungalows themselves give you a very tropical experience with amazing views and an outdoor bathroom, which makes you feel like you're in paradise. The infinity pool allows you to see the ocean and it even has a little built-in jacuzzi. This place is an amazing hidden gem which I definitely recommend!

Great views, awesome staff, very comfortable rooms with a great pool. Claudine and Nanou make you feel at home, and can assist with everything you need on the island ie snorkelling trips, scooter rental and free restaurant pick ups and drop offs.

There is a steep hill leading to down to the property. It was no issue for us, but if you have mobility issues, it may make it a bit difficult.

Amazing!

We had an amazing 2-night stay at La Gautch. The location is gorgeous and it’s only about a 5 minutes walk to the beach. And the view unbeatable, just like in the pictures. The owner is super sweet and welcoming and made sure to check in with us during our stay and helped out with recommendations and transportation when we were leaving. The bungalow is spacious and very comfortable. Overall we loved our stay here and only wished we could have stayed longer.

The hotel is located down a quite steep hill. This was no problem for us personally but something to take into account if you have bulky luggage or trouble walking.

Beautiful place to stay!

The owners were very helpful in organising whatever we needed for a good price whether it was a tour, ferry or scooter hire. Claudine was friendly and very helpful throughout our stay! The room was lovely with good aircon. Stunning property. Walking distance from the beach and a great massage place.

Wonderful 3 Day Stay

I truly appreciated the warmth and kindness of the staff—such a welcoming atmosphere! The breakfast was absolutely delicious, and the owners go above and beyond to make sure your stay is perfect. Wonderful retreat overlooking Tamarind bay

A really wonderful peaceful retreat. Beautiful views over the bay, easy to walk to four beaches and get to places to eat, while also feeling like an escape from the busy areas. A really delightful stay, and we wished we could have stayed longer. The breakfast was incredible, homemade and fresh everyday. Claudine and family are very caring, attentive, and friendly. Excellent pool to start or finish the day with. One of our best places we’ve stayed.

Beautiful and peaceful stay

Wonderful location with breathtaking views. The rooms were clean and spacious, and the pool area was a peaceful paradise. 5 minute walk down to the beach and a lovely little massage salon! I would recommend having a scooter as it is a drive to the main restaurant area.

Breakfast wasn't great - we ended up eating elsewhere. The pillows were very uncomfortable and Wi-Fi rarely worked.

Staff were lovely. Room was clean and comfortable with an amazing view. Scooter rental was ideal and a good price and breakfast was delicious.

Peaceful Oasis in Lembongan

I liked pretty much everything about La Gautch. Comfortable room, great shower, awesome breakfast and Claudina is a fantastic host. The views from the infinity pool are fabulous.

Not much really. The stairs down to the property would be challenging for someone with mobility issues but apart from that it’s a great place to stay.

The wifi signal did not really work from the end room, except a little on the balcony. This was not an issue for me but may be for those who need to work or plan their trip. 4G signal is quite low in the area too

Beautiful bungalows with fantastic views

The place was very clean and has beautiful rooms with a fantastic sea view. Staff were lovely and very friendly

No coffee facilities in the room had to pay for coffee as additional. It stated breakfast is included but it’s very limited. Entrance to property not very obvious and you have to walk down steep rocky hill to get there so if you have mobility issues I wouldn’t not recommend.

Fantastic stay in Lembongan

Claudine was amazing. Nothing was too much trouble, from giving you restaurant recommendations, organising taxis and activities. The breakfast was also a lovely start to the morning and I was able to grab something early even before going diving. Additionally the views from the room and pool can’t be beat! Will be coming back

The location was handy for me because of its proximity to do my diving. But if you can’t ride a scooter you are reliant on taxi tuk tuks which are more expensive. Some restaurants however do have free pick up and drop off; it’s a great quiet location great for relaxing. It’s just something to be aware of as it’s not overly walkable to other areas.

Hidden Gem

Perfect place to chill out and recharge. The bungalows are on top of a hill overlooking a beautful bay. Sit on the balcony whilst enjoying a glass of wine whilst watching the sunset. What more could you want :)

The view from the balcony is amazing, very nice and beautiful property. We’ve been there with our kids, they spent most of the time in the pool. Once you’ve managed to get to the property on the bumpy roads, the host and the good breakfast will make this stay memorable.

This place is absolutely amazing. Beautiful view from the room and swimming pool. Comfy and clean room. Delicious breakfast and the owners and the staff are sooo kind, always on top of our needs. Helped to rent scooter, book trips/boats/taxis, everything! Loved this place!

Your home on the hill

Claudine was so welcoming from the very start! Full of good ideas and so helpful. And always with a smile! And Nanou makes a great bfst! The bungalow was great! Stunning view from the veranda! Very comfortable bed and love the outdoor bathroom 😁. A shower and a jump in the pool after a sweaty day is soo good! And a good conversation in the jacuzzi is the cherry on the cake!

LOVELY and so beautiful in every way

SUCH beautifully placed bungalows with a view over the bay of Nusa Lembongan. It was very calm, extremely close to the beach but off the busier roads. Claudine and Nanou were absolutely wonderful hosts and super service minded - arranging a snorkle trip, always ready with cold drinks to buy in the fridge. The breakfast was beautiful.

A dream room in Nusa Lembongan 海が見える極楽部屋

A Dream room in Lembongan Island. This place perfectly fulfilled all the requirements for the room I wanted in our budget. : 1. a sea view from my windows or private balcony; 2. close to the beach; 3. feel free to leave the window located above the floor. no one is coming and going, preferably ants either!; .4. an airy room with mosquito netting to let me sleep without the a/c on cool nights; 5. a fridge and ceiling fan is a bonus. The cleaning was done to a five-star standard and there was no need to wipe down the room before use. Of course, the pool water and the entire place are all clean. The semi-outdoor bathroom is almost a beautiful garden! The floor is covered with pebbles and there are plants in the corners, arranged so that they just catch the raindrops. The balcony has a set of deck chairs and a table so comfortable that you can spend all day there looking out at the sea. At night, when I finish the beer and lie down on a deck chair, I love to see the inside of the roofs of the bungalows well lit by the lights. It was woven with straw(?) carefully, I admired it every night. Breakfast is nothing short of wonderful. We didn't get hungry until noon so we relaxed. For us, our stay here was double the price of our previous stay in Bali, but we still felt it was too cheap. It must not be easy to keep such beautiful facilities. The daily cleaning of the rooms is no different. Thanks to the lovely owner couple and Mamma, Merci!

The view of this place is breath taking!! I loved to hang out at the balcony everyday so that I could see the VIEW! Staff was really really nice, I loved their food so much me and my husband ate almost every night. I fell in love with their breakfast banana pancake, I even asked them to make one at dinner time, they found the way to make me a breakfast for dinner. It was very nice of them, I really loved how staff is so friendly and loving to guests.

I didn’t like about it but they way to go down to the property is just a bit sketch.

Generally everything was so good, would give 10 if they would had hair dryer and if I could find tea at night.

The view was incredible. The staff were so kind and helpful. We had to go for scuba diving early, they prepared our breakfast earlier than their schedule. They have scooters to rent which makes site seeing easier. There is one one beach so close by walking distance.

There is not hair dryer at the room. Bed was so soft and pillows were so thick. But it depends on the person how you like the bed :) Also if you need tea or something to eat, reception is closed around 8-9 pm.
