Combe Hill Farm is ideally placed for visiting many NT and English Heritage sites, including Batemans - home of Rudyard Kipling, Battle Abbey and Bodiam Castle. The famous Glyndebourne Festival takes place from May to August and the ancient town of Lewes celebrates Bonfire Night with a magnificent procession and firework display. Hastings, with old fishermen’s huts and fresh fish, is worth a visit, as is the cobbled town of Rye and beautiful golden sand and dunes of Camber which await exploration. Shop and pub 1 mile.

A very attractive spot, enhanced by the excellent weather experienced. Very quiet. Not too difficult to get to surrounding towns and the many National Trust and English Heritage properties.
Clean and generally well equipped, with ample storage/hanging, though, as reported by others, wifi was a bit hit and miss.

We enjoyed our stay at the dairy very much. Lovely location, beautiful surroundings and an ideal base to visit attractions such as Sissinghurst and Great Dixter as well as accessing the coast where Winchelsea is a jewel of a village. For us a dishwasher rather than a washing machine would have been more useful but washing up by hand wasn't a problem. Wonderful garden, sitting out on the lawn in the September sunshine watching planes overhead in the blue skies was a memorable way to spend a Sunday afternoon.
