Adjoining the 400-year-old farmhouse of Erw Goed, Hen Stabl (the old stable) has been restored to provide comfortable holiday accommodation. Set in the Snowdonia National Park in a beautiful and secluded location, it is close to many popular tourist attractions. The market town of Dolgellau, 6 miles, and 3 miles from the sandy beaches at Fairbourne and Barmouth. Cadair Idris is 4 miles, whilst Coed-y-Brenin offers good walks and mountain biking. Just a stone’s throw from the Mawddach Estuary. The owners keep bees, chickens and ducks, so eggs, honey and beeswax products are available. Guests have access to the 85-acre smallholding and woodland and there is a bothy and camp fire site available for outdoor cooking or camp fires. Shop and pub 3 miles.
