Located in the quiet coastal village of Fairbourne, this holiday property has a large lawned garden with great views of the mountains, yet is only a couple of minutes walk from the lovely, quiet, two-mile long sandy beach, accessed over steep stones. Many of the area’s beaches are dog-friendly and Fairlawns can accommodate up to 2 dogs.

The property makes a great base for exploring the area. Take a trip on the little Fairbourne Railway out to the headland and cross the Mawddach Estuary by ferry, and visit Barmouth where you can try crabbing in the harbour, or stroll across the famous Barmouth Bridge.

Imagine climbing Cader Idris, exploring the ruins of Castell-y-Bere, or riding behind a steam engine on the friendly Talyllyn Railway and hopping off the train to explore the waterfalls at Dolgoch or Nant Gwernol. Visit the pretty market town of Dolgellau, go walking or mountain biking at Coed-Y-Brenin Forest Park, and then relax in the garden, watching the sunset.
