About this cottage rental
1950s Cottage. Extremely quiet neighborhood - wonderful place for a stroll with view of the tidal marsh and Half Moon River. Lighted tennis courts within walking distance. 12 miles from downtown Savannah or Tybee Island. Completely renovated. All new appliances (all electric - not gas burning), systems, furnishings. Beds have luxury linens and excellent mattresses. 60 inch Samsung flat screen. Comcast cable with premium channels and 75 MBS internet connection.
We do allow dogs -NOT cats due to family member's allergy- but require that you confirm with us that they are on flea control. They are not allowed on furniture or bedding as this creates so much additional work for our housekeeper. Please be sure to read the pet policy and other house rules and contact us
We also have outdoor cameras viewing the front and back yard. We DO NOT have any indoor cameras.

It was a good space as our grandson lives on Wilmington. We felt safe. The indoor space was clean - recommend some outside lawn work.

Glad place for my daughter ( 11 years old) and myself with our doggies- able to walk to park nearby - nice screen in porch - rooms had plenty of space and very clean and safe We shopped and toured downtown Savannah, walked dogs through fort Pulaski, and even played at beach , it was a great place in between everything .

Nice private area. Wishing the backyard was fenced in for my dogs. But we walk them on a leash around the neighborhood it was nice.

This was our third stay at the Charming Cottage, and it continues to be our favorite getaway spot near Savannah. Every time we return, it feels like stepping into a peaceful retreat—cozy, welcoming, and full of charm.The location is perfect: close enough to enjoy the energy and history of downtown Savannah, yet just a short drive to the relaxing beaches of Tybee Island. The neighborhood is quiet and safe, making it easy to unwind after a day of exploring.The cottage is always spotless and thoughtfully furnished, with everything we need for a comfortable stay. We especially love the outdoor space for morning coffee and evening chats, and the beds are incredibly comfortable.Jack is a fantastic host—friendly, responsive, and clearly dedicated to making each visit special. His attention to detail and hospitality make all the difference.We’re already looking forward to our next visit. This cottage has truly become a cherished part of our travel tradition.
