This stylish, terraced holiday villa is set within the St. Merryn Holiday Village, on the outskirts of St Merryn and just 5 miles from Padstow. The property has an open-plan living area on the ground floor with doors leading to a sunny garden area with decking and a small lawn, ideal for morning coffee or an evening drink. On site there is a bar/restaurant, tennis courts and a recreation area. The village of St Merryn, which is approximately 1 mile, has a variety of shops, pubs and restaurants, including one by Rick Stein. Ideally located, the property is just 5 miles from the popular, medieval estuary town of Padstow, noted for its busy fishing harbour and Rick Stein’s famous restaurants. Across the estuary there is Rock, the magnificent sands of Daymar and a little further, Polzeath. There are 7 bays all within easy reach from the property, with the nearest, Constantine Bay, just 3 miles away. Just a short drive south along the coast is Watergate Bay and Newquay, Cornwall’s liveliest resort, with its Sea Life Centre, zoo and sandy surfing beaches. Shop and restaurant 500 yards, pub 1 mile.

Overall a good base to visit surrounding areas such as Padstow and Port Isaac.

Very well maintained property, it was warm and looked inviting, garden size ideal considering how much there is to get out and do such as hiking, surfing or visiting attractions/ restaurants. Only a teensy bit of cobweb in the corner of the windows for the Juliet balcony, the spare duvet clearly had not been cleaned in a while as it had brown hairs from whomever used it last as was the pullout sofa, the ironing board cover looked a bit dirty but it did not detract from the property and all the other attention to details. From bottle openers to baking trays, teapots to serving trays. A very well thought out villa/cottage in a superb location. My guests all enjoyed there stay and are hoping to return next year.
