Lovely clean and comfortable cottage, beautifully situated near Whinlatter forest. Quiet location but conveniently near enough to Keswick. The host, Gabby, was attentive and made sure our stay was welcoming with personal touches. We will book again.

Great location, close enough to Keswick but in a peaceful, quiet location. The cottage itself has everything you could need and there are great walks and cycles on and off road straight from the front door! Bottle of bubbles to greet us was a lovely surprise.

Perfect cottage to get away from it all, very spacious and comfortable, everything you could wish for. Walks right on the doorstep up to Whinlatter forest park and down to Bassenthwaite lake. Nice touches from the owner on arrival. Would definitely stay here again.

We had a great stay at Fairholme. A well appointed cottage with everything we needed. The card from the owners was a nice touch. The locals were friendly and welcoming and just a short stroll to Thornthwaite Gallery is well worth a visit. We also took a very up hill walk into the Whinlatter Forest from the cottage. Lovely to have a drink and cake and watch the birds on the feeders when we got there. Keswick is an old favourite with us but did something new this time and visited the theatre by the lake. Well worth it a great production.
