A standout perk: your stay includes two (2) transferable memberships at 1 Hotel Hanalei Bay, which provide fitness center access, spa discounts, and resort pool privileges (subject to the resort’s current rules, availability, hours, and any blackout dates or guest policies; access details provided prior to check-in).

Awesome trip. The view is wonderful. It made the place special. Great, convenient location. A few things that could have been better: We did not receive the 1Hotel Memberships. Apparently that was added after we booked our stay. But every time I looked it up it was on the listing. I asked about it and did not get an answer for 3 days while we were already here. By the time I heard back I would have had to pay for it and we didn’t have time to use it. There was no coffee provided, only decaf. Also there were only 4 beach towels for 5 of us the whole time. The AC worked well in the bedrooms but the great room was hot for the sofabed sleeper at night. The front room gets very hot due to the windows. The AC split in master points directly at the bed. We could have used another blanket, but there was only 1 supplied and had to use for sofabed. The showers did not have a ton of hot water. If both showers being used at once, no hot water. Housekeeping showed up on checkout day at 9:59am. We were a family of 5 traveling with another family who was staying in another unit in same building. So, we got to see and spend time in their unit as well. We actually liked theirs better as far as layout and decor.

We had trouble using lockbox to enter property and called the management company for assistance. They told us they have not managed the property in 2.5 years but just thanks to their kindness, they talked me through opening the lockbox anyway. There were no instructions on how to use the tv/electronics so we ended up using our iPads. Tips on beaches etc were out of date. It’s a beautiful location, and it’s a nice comfortable condo. You can easily walk to a gorgeous beach in front of the 1Hotel resort, or take a difficult hike to another gorgeous beach closer to condo. We would definitely go back and pick a different condo in this complex, as there are many to choose from.
