About this house rental
Hale Honoiki is a classic Hawaiian Style getaway with a second story lanai that extends around the entire house. Here you will enjoy views of the magnificent ocean, lush mountains and abundant waterfalls. The large sliding glass doors in each room allow the trade winds to keep the house cool, accompanied by air conditioning throughout. It has every amenity desired for gourmet cooking, playing at the beach, and keeping the mind and body happy. (boogie board, bikes, books and games). The home is located in a quiet neighborhood on the second hole of the Makai Golf Course. It is less than one-half block from the Hanalei Bay Resort and a 10 minute walk to the closest beach. The local beach is inside the protective reef in front of the 1 Hotel, with good snorkeling. The Hanalei Bay Resort is a few doors down if you want a drink or a meal with Bali Hai as your backdrop. Combining rustic elm furniture with vibrant blues, corals and greens the home has a calming coastal vibe. It has four bedrooms and three baths, one outside shower, and one main kitchen. In a Hawaiian paradise like Princeville, it’s imperative that the outdoor living areas take full advantage of the home’s tropical surroundings. There are three seating areas on the lanai. At the front entrance of the home, we included a space where guests can watch the sunrise over the iconic Kauai mountains. At the back of the house we created an outdoor dining area, as well as a separate cozy seating area for watching sunsets while enjoying a glass of wine or island libation. It is surrounded by tropical gardens with ginger, oranges, lemons, limes, papayas, pineapples, orchids and a multitude of flowers. There is also a ground floor patio and tropical hardwood deck, facing the golf course with plenty of room to lounge or BBQ. There are two master bedroom suites, a garden suite, a playful double twin room and a cozy sleeping loft all within ear shot of a heavy surf. The surroundings wash away stress and a good night sleep is inevitable after experiencing the variety of activities here on the island.
It is located 27 miles from the Lihue Airport and close to the convenience of the Princeville Center with market, restaurants & shops. It is 4 miles from Hanalei town.
