Welcome to Hale Alaula, a stunning high-end plantation style home located on golf course greens in Sunset Drive, Princeville. Alaula, meaning "Sunset Glow" in Hawaiian, is just that. Hale Alaula is situated in the exclusive Sunset Drive subdivision in the resort town of Princeville and is perfect for large families and groups of friends. Fully upgraded with spacious comforts, it's easy to enjoy this home away from home in the warm Hawaiian atmosphere.

This beautiful 4-bedroom, 3-bath luxury home boasts many modern amenities, tropical island character, and golf course views. With spacious accommodations, this home is one of the favorites! The master bedroom includes a King Bed, large walk in closet, dual sinks in ensuite bathroom; the two guest bedrooms include Queen Beds, and the 4th bedroom has a King size bed. The detailed craftsmanship flows throughout the house with quartz countertops and double shower heads in the bathrooms.

Amazing property, great location in princeville right on the golf course. Perfect for north shore beaches and if you’re golfing at the Makai golf course. Quiet hours listed as 10-7 AM but was told we were being too noisy while conversing on the patio at 8 PM.

This home is beautiful. The living/dining/kitchen area is spacious and comfortable. It worked out perfectly for 4 adult family members to have separate bedrooms. We enjoyed the back patio and being able to walk to the market and a few shops nearby. There is also a stunning view of the sunset across the water within walking distance. We’d love to return!

We loved our stay at this property. It has a large central space that comfortably holds 8 people. There are four bedrooms and all bedrooms have real beds (the listing said one of the bedrooms had a foldout bed). And it is located on the Princeville Makai golf course, which is a beautiful course although a bit on the expensive side (the county course is also great and less expensive and a 45 min drive). You can walk to the beach at Hanalei Bay, which has amazing snorkeling. And you can book the shuttle from the golf course to Hā’ena State Park, which has a great hike and is also great for snorkeling. This place also has a great outdoor area that looks out on the golf course. If you love birds, this is an amazing place to stay with so many varieties that you can watch from the lanai. The one thing we didn't like and I hope they will fix is that it has a poorly installed fridge that is a bit of a pain to use. Despite that we loved our stay and would go back.

This was a great stay. House has everything you need including great beach toys, a cooler, snorkelling gear and even bikes for the kids. Kitchen is very well appointed. The location on the golf course is great. Great indoor, outdoor living space and had a few bbq’s! Really close to the shops in Princeville as well as local beaches!

It was a great trip and this rental house is large, spacious and adds a large backdoor patio looking over the lush, super green, golf courseI'd reciommend it for sure! The only Con is the blanket situation -- I expected there would be a couple of blankets but there wasn't any aside from the actual bedding. Blankets and a a few more options in the game closet. Game closet would be clutch.

This home was perfect for our family of six with four bedrooms, three bathrooms, and a huge living/dining/kitchen area and a lovely covered outdoor dining area. It was spotlessly clean and well appointed and in a quiet golf course neighborhood. A few things to be aware of are (1) no air conditioning, which was ok for us in the winter, but might be pretty toasty in the summer, (2) a pull-out sofa bed that was a bit saggy and uncomfortable for an adult to sleep on, but would probably be ok for kids, (3) a bit further than expected from a full-sized grocery store and the beaches--about 15 minutes drive, (4) and lack of nonstick cookware, which made cooking a bit difficult and messy. But despite those small things, I would definitely stay here again. It's actually the loveliest VRBO/holiday rental we've ever had, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Maholo!

Our extended family had a restful and enjoyable time during our annual visit to Kauai. Hale Alaula was immaculate, spacious, and comfortable. The descriptions of the property were accurate. It was conveniently situated close to many North Shore activities, beaches, et cetera, yet was in a comfortable, quiet, and private neighborhood that allowed us to end our adventure-filled days in quiet and comfort.

This house was exactly what we wanted! And it was better than the pictures! Great quiet location. Near everything we wanted to do. Kalalau Trail, Queens Bath, Hideaways Beach. Comfortable beds, and we loved the back porch. Will definitely stay here again when we come back.

This house was amazing. We stayed for almost a week and the location was very convenient for all the activities we did with all of the other family members and friends that also stayed in the area for my daughter’s wedding. The house was equipped with everything we needed. We BBQ twice while there and the kitchen had all the necessary utensils, pots and so on to make it comfortable to cook and make wonderful dinners for the family. The lanai is beautiful facing the golf course. The beaches and Hanalei were conveniently close to the property. The grounds of the neighborhood were amazing and well kept. We honestly enjoyed the property. The only thing I would change is the sofa bed because my daughter that came from Paris got this room and it was very uncomfortable. Also, I would recommend that the washer should be updated to a new one since we really had a hard time washing our clothes. These are two minor things that are easy to take care of but overall I recommend this beautiful home to anyone.

Great location and house. $ couples sued house fo extended wedding trip/vacation. Clean and had all the needed extras. The beds are comfortable and clean. Don't be concerned about no a/c. Nights are cool ane great circulation in house.

This was a very nice spacious house, very nicely furnished and equipped, including tennis rackets and all the beach gear you could want.Central to princeville with easy access to hanalei which is good because that's where we spent almost all of our time. Really nothing negative to say about this at all other than the fact that the living room TV would not connect to the internet.
