The house has a great layout and wonderful view and location. But the rental company is so slack. I told them I was arriving early and they said they would let me know if I could get in early. Never heard back.
When I arrived the guy was supposedly looking over the house to make sure everything was right. waste of time. he also said he would get back to me on a few things and didn't.
I went to go sit in chairs at the beach, and I knew two came with the house. They were not set up until the next morning. There were some locked up under the house but no way to use. Nice arrival touch, not.
Then I decided to go for a bike ride. All four bikes were rusted with flat tires.
When I went to get in bed that night there was no top sheet on the bed. I had to use the comforter to cover up to. Eww. Got in touch and they did bring one by the next day. Next I hear another room didn't have a top sheet either and I have to call again. This time they never brought one.
It's not part of my idea of vacation to have to keep being on the phone over and over with the house rental company.
The kitchen has the bare pantry essentials, no not even that. No salt and pepper even.
There were lightbulbs burned out and rusted old showerheads.
I asked for an hour later check out. Never heard back. The cleaners arrived right at 10 AM. It's fine, we were ready to get out of there but this paying top dollar you expect to actually have everything in order.
And 3 nights is actually 46 hours.
This was most definitely not a 5 star experience, Five Star Gulf Rentals.
