About this house rental

Walk out the door onto the sand. Enjoy the small town feel and breathtaking views out every window. Our family friendly home sleeps 8. This home is located just north of Waldport in the Bayshores community and has access to Bayshores outdoor pool, fitness and tennis facilities. It is a 15 minute drive to Newport's Oregon Coast Aquarium and nestled between the ocean and Alsea Bay.

Reverse living home provides for the most beautiful views of the Ocean and the bay from the Great room, kitchen and two bedrooms upstairs. There are two king bedrooms upstairs, one queen room downstairs, Bunk room with two sets of bunks (twin over full) down stairs and a new Queen sleeper sofa downstairs in bonus room. Porta crib available. There is a ping pong table, Corn Hole game, and games available for your entertainment.
Our lab loves the beach and we know our guests have well behaved dogs who also love the beach. We allow up to 2 dogs. We DO NOT allow dogs to sleep on the beds or sit on couches. We also can not allow dogs to be locked in the home while you are away. Leaving them in the garage is fine.

The house was very accommodating for my family with twin one year-olds, a three-year-old and four adults. It sits in a neighborhood off of the highway and sits on sand dunes which has a path out the back door porch and you can walk directly to the ocean. It is a little bit of a steep hill down, but we had no problem with it. Unfortunately the weather was a little foggy almost every day that we were there until it lifted in the afternoon and we could only see the ocean view from the house the very last day we were there - but that has nothing to do with the house. We had everything we needed in the kitchen, the TV was great it has a back porch off of the master bedroom and also off of the living room which was really nice to be able to access the beach at. It is less than five minutes to Walport that had a very nice little market And we easily could drive to Yachats south or Newport north and made several driving trips along the coast. Just be ready to be in the sand quite a bit -but it was kind of fun. We had a campfire on the beach a couple nites which was fun. If you want to be on the beach this was a great house.

The house was lovely and had anything you would need.Wish we had known about the steep entrance to the beach and the handicap entrance further down the beach. I walk with a cane. We really enjoyed our stay.

This was the best Beach rental that my family has ever booked! Had everything needed and direct beach access. The host was awesome and quickly responded to any and all questions we had. Our dogs loved this place too! Will stay again and definitely recommend!

We truly enjoyed our weekend trip. It was a last minute trip with our son and his girlfriend before they go back to college. This home is spacious. The kitchen is great for cooking meals at home. There’s two back decks to enjoy beach views and the beach is just a short walk away. We will visit again.

We've stayed in multiple properties in Bayshore, and this was by far our favorite. The views of the ocean and bay are gorgeous. It is a well laid out home that worked well for multiple families with children; the second living room in the basement was awesome. The kitchen is big and well stocked with everything you might need. There's a double washer and dryer, as well as plenty of towels, blankets, games, etc. We really enjoyed our stay, and the hosts were so kind and accommodating. Thank you!

Very clean and spacious! Plenty of room for everyone to stretch out. The kids loved being able to play in the sand right out the back door! The access is a little challenging but we took grandma to the beach club and it was easier. The pool was great for an afternoon dip. Overall, very nice house with everything we needed. The grill was in the garage, would have been nice to have it on the back deck but too difficult to manage. Thanks!

The house was bright and open. We had plenty of room for 5 adults, and 2 children. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. The only thing that didn’t go well was the weather! We had a great visit at the Aquarium and local restaurants and bakery recommended by the owners!! Thank you!! We will be back!!

The easiest access to the beach, straight out the back door! While Mother Nature has done her work, due to King Tides and other weather, we happily "sand-shoed" are way down to the ocean - haha! If you love the beach, this is the perfect getaway. And the home is lovely with everything you need to cook, relax, and watch a good movie - we had the best time. Thank you!

The house was everything we thought it would be and more. The 3rd bathroom is a game changer. The home was well-appointed and had everything we needed for our stay. It had a beautiful view of the water. However, the beach was not accessible due to the high dunes that had accumulated. This was very disappointing as this is the very reason we chose this house. (that's nature for you) However, the home is in a very good area to get out and enjoy the beach in other areas along the coast.

This was a perfect house for a 3 generation family with plenty of space and fantastic layout of rooms. It was so nice to have our own little bit of beach just outside the two decks without having to walk down to the shoreline. Getting to the water took a bit of navigation but that's the nature of everchanging tides of the Oregon Coast. Property Manager was very responsive to our question of TV channels since the "instructions" weren't clear on which App to use for access. The house is fully loaded with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Thanks so much for the extra boots in the garage - they came in handy for those of us who forgot to pack our own.

Incredible views of the ocean and Alsea bridge combined with comfortable and well-equipped on-the-beach home made this the perfect beach vacation for our three generation family. The location is terrific for beach walks as well as touring nearby to Cape Perpetua, Sea Lion caves, and the Newport aquarium. We loved it all!

Coming to this place one or twice a year are the highlights of the year! We love the house, versatile room arrangements, views, beach access and closeness of a variety of experiences (aquarium, variety of restaurants, ping pong table, local neighborhood store, crab shacks, etc), SUNSETS, and plenty of room for the outgoing and the more reserved to find their place in this home. This was the perfect house for our Thanksgiving holiday! There were 7 of us total, my parents, husband, and 3 older (teen) kids. Location was perfect! Literally steps away from sand and even if the weather is not great for walking on the beach the ocean view is amazing!! We saw the most gorgeous sunsets!! The space within the house was great! Plenty of room for all of us to fit comfortably on the big sectional couch for movies or the big table for dinners or games. Beds were comfortable too! Kitchen was very well equipped for us to have Thanksgiving dinner, the table was even decorated for us!! We did do a lot of cooking beforehand, but still had plenty of serving dishes and extras. Would definitely recommend staying and hope to be back!

We stayed with our family, including our 2 grandsons. The downstairs was perfect for them. Views are incredible! Awesome to have washers and dryers, but one of the dryers wasn’t working. Overall, though, a perfect vacation.

Having beach access was simply amazing. The home had plenty of goodies for us to borrow for our trip down to the beach. The home had kites, sand buckets, shovels, beach towels, chairs, and rain boots in all sizes. It made spending a day on the beach simple. The home is gorgeous on the inside and the beds are SO COMFORTABLE. We will definitely visit this home again.

Loved our time here. Very clean and well-maintained. Good space for our group (2 families and grandma). Very clean grill which we appreciated.
