Peaceful and secluded to allow peace and relaxation in the woods or on the river. Furnished cabin with full kitchen, wood stove, outdoor deck and fire/BBQ pit and sleeps up to 8. Surrounding woods quiet for hiking and other outdoor activities. River walking distance from cabin with clean, large gravel bar. Upper Meramec River- Red Ribbon Area known for cleanliness and trout fishing. Kayak, canoe and rafting available near by. 10 minutes by vehicle to Steelville or Cuba for live music entertainment, wineries, antiques and dining.

I had an absolutely wonderful time during my stay here. Emily is a fantastic hostess and made everything very easy. She’s extremely friendly and communicative. The scenery is gorgeous with the river behind the cabin. I couldn’t have asked for a better get away with my dogs!

What a wonderful cabin on the Meramec! Absolutely unbeatable location and easy to access yet seems far and away. We really enjoyed it. Amazing huge fire circle and great views. River access was incredible.

The setting where the cabin was was beautiful, lots of shade, nice breeze, even during the hot July week. Would definitely come back and stay another time.
