Hear the wave’s crash and watch the crystal blue ocean from Coco Azul located just steps from Los Muertos Beach (green chairs) on the Bay of Banderas in the Zona Romantica on level 9. Coco Azul is close to everything including Blue Chairs/Green Chairs ( Ritmos) Resorts, Mantamar Beach Club and the Sapphire Ocean Club, yet just far enough away to feel a sense of privacy and relaxation. Just walk a few blocks into the heart of old town, there is something for everyone including many gay friendly shops, bars and restaruants. Newly renovated, the feel is modern beachy with a twist of old Mexico - natural tones, pops of aqua and a relaxed modern vibe create a sense of calm. This end unit is light and airy with many windows and also one of the largest one bedroom units in the building. My husband and I stayed here in January 2026 for one week. The condo was beautiful, the view was stunning, and we loved the location. It was in a fairly quiet area, but just a few blocks from all the great restaurants of the RZ. We would 100% recommend the condo to anyone. I hope to visit again - maybe next January!

The condo lived up to its description. We especially appreciated how everyone in the area was so welcoming and friendly. From other condo owners, staff, other tourists. It was awesome!

Perfect patio with amazing view

This condo is very nice inside & out. The location is great, only a 10 minute walk to all the bars and restaurants downtown. It's up a rather steep hill with cobblestone streets, so be aware if you have mobility issues. The Kitchen, bathroom, living room, bedroom (comfy bed), are all great. The balcony is awesome, with a great view of the ocean, and to-die-for sunsets, however the buzzkill is the noise during the day. There is a large air compressor for the adjacent resort about 20 yards away, that comes on and off every 5 minutes...this is annoying to the point that you don't want to be out there for long during the day. Maybe this is a new installation, as the property manager didn't seem to be aware of it when we brought it to her attention. Luckily, it stops running after about 7p.m., so you can really enjoy the balcony in the evenings. During the day there is some construction noise in other units in the same building, and the music from the beach clubs and resort next door can be somewhat irritating after a while, but there is a noise bylaw, so no music after 10 p.m. The pool is absolutely fantastic! Paradise, with all kinds of beautiful flowers and a wonderful waterfall that you can swim through. The property manager Beatriz is amazing, always getting back to us right away, and being super helpful. Overall we enjoyed our stay. Hopefully the compressor issue will get resolved soon.
