PVRPV Puerto Vallarta Vacations presents Casa de Risa a 2 bedroom, 2 bath beachfront vacation location, ideally located in the heart of Old Town on Puerto Vallarta's famous Playa Los Muertos in the Playa Bonita Building.
The Playa Bonita complex has 24 hour security, a beautiful in ground pool, lounging chairs, table and chairs inside the gated community as well as beach chairs and palapas available for Playa Bonita registered guests directly on the beach. Explore the city with all its wonderful shops & galleries with restaurants and exciting nightlife, all within walking distance of Playa Bonita.
Casa de Risa vacation location of Puerto Vallarta located on the second floor of the building has 1300 sq. ft of living. The kitchen is fully equipped with a refrigerator, stove, microwave, blender and the kitchen counter is also a breakfast nook with bar stools. You will also find a washer and dryer, ceiling fans, wireless internet and air conditioning in the bedrooms.
The dining room has seating capacity for 4. In the living room, you will find plenty of seating area, a sofa, love seat and chair, as well as ceiling fan, flat screen television with cable and DVD player and a CD player. You can step out to the terrace and enjoy your evening cocktail and watch the world famous Puerto Vallarta sunsets in the Bay of Banderas, or sip on your morning coffee.
The main bedroom has a king size bed, closet space, work desk with chair, flat screen television with cable, ceiling fan, air conditioning, alarm clock and a private bathroom.

Note that the property is located directly on the beach and normal beach noise and activities are associated with properties on the beach. Unit is also next to a gay hotel with entertainment at night until no later than 11:30pm.
PLEASE NOTE:
All guests registered to stay in this unit are required by the administration of the complex to wear an arm bracelet during the entire time of their stay. The arm bracelet must be returned to the PVRPV concierge and / or the front desk at the time of check out.

Please note if you require a CHECK IN or CHECK OUT before 8am or after 8pm you will incur an additional charge of $40.00 USD - tax included (or the equivalent in Mexican pesos based on the exchange rate of the peso on the date of your payment) which must be paid in cash, and collected by the concierge.
Remember that Puerto Vallarta is located in Central Time Zone (same as Mexico City, GMT-6)
You will be issued 1 set of keys for each person noted on the Booking Confirmation. Keys must be returned in the same condition as received at the time of CHECK OUT.

Cleaning Services
Our Standard Cleaning Services included are based on a minimum rental of 7 days. In the case where your rental is less than the time period indicated or you require additional services the cost per cleaning will be $50.00 USD - tax included (or the equivalent in Mexican pesos based on the exchange rate of the peso on the date of your payment). This will be collected by Concierge on the day of the check in.

Nicely refreshed unit overlooking the pool with comfortable furniture and working TVs for those stay in evenings. The host is local and extremely helpful, offering to help with check in and WiFi password. Javier is easy to get in touch with and is genuinely interested in you having a good time.

The check in was great and easy, they were very accommodating when we requested a late check out due to our late flight which was really appreciated and the unit itself was clean and well appointed. The heater for the pool was unfortunately broken so we didn’t get to enjoy is as much as we were hoping. We have young kids so it was important for us. It also smelled like urine just outside the building which was not pleasant. Hopefully those couple things can be addressed as it would otherwise be a great place to stay.

We recently stayed at this property and had a great experience overall. The ocean view is beautiful, the pool area is clean and relaxing, and the property administration team was professional, responsive, and attentive throughout our stay. The unit matched the photos exactly and was very clean upon arrival. The property management team that manages this particular unit was a little slow to respond and didn't seem overly concerned or apologetic about the roach situation.Before booking, I noticed an older review mentioning cockroaches, so I reached out to confirm whether the issue had been resolved. I was told it was not a current problem. Unfortunately, we did have some cockroach sightings during our stay. We reported it, and to their credit, the administration eventually arranged for the unit to be sprayed again. However, the treatment didn’t seem to make much of a difference, as the roaches appeared to be coming from the sink drains.While this was a downside, the rest of the experience was very positive. With more targeted pest control—especially around the plumbing—this could easily earn another star. Sadly - as mentioned in other reviews - some of the other nearby clubs do contribute to the smell or urine when you step outside.
