Accommodations: 3-4 Bedrooms, 2.5-3.5 baths, Sleeps up to 14 in home (3 more seasonally in Pool House bedroom. Pool House full bath & bedroom are available when pool is open May 1 - October 15.
The perfect, upscale, personal, country retreat. The home, hot tub and heated, in-ground pool are situated on 25 private acres on one of the highest elevations in Missouri. POOL IS HEATED & OPEN FROM MAY 1 - OCTOBER 15 EACH YEAR! The pool house includes a full bath, bedroom which sleeps 3, outdoor kitchen & gas grill, outdoor living room with gas fireplace, 75" 4K UHD Smart TV & wi-fi. You will enter Big Oak Lodge through an electronic security gate and follow a private lane which leads to the home. The property is located in a quiet area where you can truly unwind and enjoy a peaceful retreat from everyday life. There is also a 5 acre lake on the property for your use. You will find this to be a perfect getaway whether you are looking to spend quality time with your family, a romantic getaway for two or an escape for you and your closest friends.
MAIN LEVEL FEATURES: As you walk through the front door, the first thing that will capture your attention is the view of the lake and the horizon. The living room's 16 foot wall of glass allows you to take in all the views. The living room and kitchen is open, perfect for food, fun and fellowship. The kitchen is fully equipped with pots/pans, eating utensils, tile floors, large center island with a dining bar. The dining area seats six. Enjoy your meals while looking at the lake and the 15 mile view of the rolling hills.
ADDITIONAL MAIN LEVEL FEATURES: Sliding glass doors from kitchen, living room and master bedroom lead to the wrap-around deck.
OUTSIDE: Enjoy a walk by the private Lake, sit in the Gazebo, enjoy the manicured grounds, swim in the heated, in-ground pool or just kick-back and relax in the hot tub.
NEAR BY: The Gasconade river is about 5 minutes away, the Osage River is 20 minutes away, Fugitive Beach Waterpark is 45 minutes away, and the Lake of the Ozarks is an hour away.
The Herman Winery is located 30 minutes away, Westphalia Winery 20 minutes away and Wenwood Farm Winery 15 minutes away. SURVEILLANCE DEVICES: VRBO and the host are committed to protecting the privacy and security of hosts and guests. The VRBO policy allows reasonable monitoring of the outside of the property while still protecting privacy inside the home. There are no surveillance devices operating inside the home. This property is simply amazing!! Randy , the host was excellent to communicate with!! The house is stocked with everything you can think of!! The pool and outdoor kitchen was top notch!! We will definitely be returning!

We had a great time. The house offered many amenities, rooms were great. Kitchen upstairs and downstairs. Great views. The pool was nice. The host was great, checked in and offered assistance whenever needed. Responded in a timely manner. Overall, one of the best experiences with a home rental. Will definitely be booking in the future. Thank you for a great experience!

It was a wonderful way to connect with our grandsons. We spent 5 days swimming, fishing, exploring and playing games in the evening. . The kitchen is very well stocked (we cooked every meal and were never in want for a pan, mixer, measuring cups etc). The ice machine was quite a plus, no dashes out to get a bag of ice! The pool was a great temperature. (One grandson came out only for meals). Fishing was very fun...caught a variety. Beds comfortable. Property is beautiful, we really enjoyed the variety of birds! Perfect vacation, thumbs up from all three of our teenage grandsons...

This was our second stay at this property. There were 11 of us this time. The pool, hot tub and stocked pond gave hours of entertainment. The kitchen has small appliances to make life a little easier (toaster, coffee maker, crock pot, etc) it also has all the dishes pots and pans you’d need for making meals. The grocery store is about a 7 minute drive from the house. Nice secluded location. The host, Randy, is always great to work with. Fast and clear communication. We would definitely stay again!Pros: ample sleeping space, ample seating, user friendly security codes/gate, no need to go do anything as it’s all right on site, great pool, great hot tub, great fishingCons: lower level bathroom is pretty tight to share with several people, there’s no way around constantly going up and down stairs (or up and down the hill for pond use), grounds could use a landscaping facelift
