About this house rental
Plenty of room for everyone in this brand new house. The Bittersweet Inn is a 6 bed, 5 bath house perched perfectly on a hillside with a picturesque view of beautiful Hermann, MO. The entire house has been decked out in mid century modern decor. The lower level features a bar with a 2 second full size refrigerator so guests on both levels of the house will have a place to relax.
Although you likely will not see me during your stay, I am always available via phone or text if you have a question or concern.

This is the 2nd time staying at this property. I came back, because it was a great property to stay at the first time in 2022. This visit, it was spick and span, with well-stocked bathrooms. The kitchen was also well-stocked, but no oven mitts to cook with (which was fine, but a little inconvenient). It was also tricky to get ahold of the host through messaging during the booking, but readily answered with a phone call. The host was very friendly and helpful at that point. There was a swing that was broken, so we were not able to enjoy the downstairs walk-out patio as I had experienced with the 2022 group. Overall, there was lots of living space and it could comfortably fit 12-14 people! The location is walkable to Stone Hill Winery and the Hermann Trolley readily comes to this property!!

Everything was great, beautiful house. Layout & decor very cute. However, floors were not cleaned prior to us checking in. There was food, dirt, hair on the floors in every room (I assume from the previous guests). The owners offered to have the floors cleaned while we were out the next day, but we weren’t comfortable with that. Also, the grill was so tiny for that big of a house; we were planning on grilling all weekend for everyone, but that grill could not accommodate. I would encourage getting a larger grill for guests or not advertise there is a bbq grill. Other than that everything was good.
