About this house rental
This beautiful river cabin offers an idyllic escape to the enchanting waters of the Meramec, Courtois and Huzzah Rivers. Situated at the Courtois and Huzzah confluence, this home is a haven for outdoor enthusiasts and those seeking the perfect retreat. Immerse yourself in the tranquility of the surroundings. The cabin provides access to some of the best fishing spots, hiking (Ozark Trail) and floating spots in Missouri. Gorgeous 3 bed/3 bath home on 13.9 acres is the perfect spot for you!
The property offers abundant parking and plenty of space for your group to spread out. We are at the banks of the Courtois and Huzzah river and back up directly to Huzzah Conservation area.
Driving we are very close to all your major outfitters which some `put in` and others `take out` right next to the property. We are 3.5 milers to Ozark Outdoors, 8.9 to Huzzah Valley, 10.8 to Bass River and 1.3 to Ozark Trailhead and Courtois creek `put in` if you want to do an easy tube float.
The location is ideal for floating. You can put in a Bass River resort which is a 6.1 mile float back to the cabin, Huzzah Valley is 5.4 mile float and Huzzah conservation courtois `put in` is 1.1 mile tube float back. You can `put in` and float down to Ozark Outdoors or Onondaga Cave state park which is 4.3 miles if you have a ride back.
Huzzah Valley has been great about picking up guests directly from the cabin and dropping at their place for an easy 5.4 mile float back to the cabin. Call them to schedule your float and let us know if there is anything we can do to help.

**READ ME** We recommend that EVERYONE get trip protection for any unforeseen needs to cancel your reservation. It`s peace of mind! :-) Get a policy that states “coverage/cancellation for any reason”. If for some unforeseen circumstances, you need to cancel, you will be GLAD you did it, and won`t be upset with us :)

My husband and I were looking for a week’s getaway to celebrate our 29th anniversary in a quiet, out in the middle of the woods location, and this beautiful home fit the bill perfectly! The views from the deck of the home are absolutely stunning. This is a great spot for birdwatching as well, with dozens of raptors flying right past the house, many smaller birds, and squirrels leaping from tree to tree. We especially loved the hot tub and steam sauna, enjoying them every day with a convenient shower just inside the lower door to rinse off. The kitchen was fully stocked and we were able to cook full meals without any concerns that something might be lacking.In short, we had a great stay and would certainly come again!

Clean, beautiful property. We had a group of 9 and everyone slept comfortably. A gorgeous view off the deck. Hosts were responsive. Kitchen well-stocked. I really appreciated the coffee section!Overall, a lovely property and I would absolutely like to stay again, but I would book through another platform (something that rhymes with Care-BNB) in the future due to profound issues on VRBO's customer support behalf.
