Ontas Villa Loutraki Platanias

One of the best houses I have been to. Amazingly maintained, super clean and with responding and caring host. The property is two floored, with two big and very comfortable bedrooms with two bathrooms which were brand new on the second floor. Enormous living space on the first floor with fully equipped kitchen and patio which was adorable for morning coffee. The host George had prepared nice, small touches for us which made us feel at home. Highly recommend.

Great place! Evertything was perfect! Clean house, with nice decoration, spacious and the owner is very friendly and helpful. He even had a lot of treats for the guests. Highly recommend! We will definitely visit again

We had an amazing stay in George’s villa. He literally saved our trip. We arrived late at night and we had a car appointment we weren’t able to take. We had to go to the villa with taxi and we were very worried what to do without a car. First George greeted us with traditional Greek dinner at 11 PM, a shot of raki and a big smile. He helped us a lot and on the next morning he found us a car in half price, since everything was booked in the sites! This saved our trip! The house itself was amazing, a few outdoor lounges with a barbecue, sparkling clean, very comfortable beds, ACs in every area, fridge with a few beers, water, olives.. Loutraki village center (100 meters) have tavernas and we recommend Niko’s one for sure! You have to go and meet him! Gerani village is 10 mins away with the car, amazing Balos beach is in this area, also Chania is near where you can go for dinner and a drink. Out of all we became friends with the people from the village, George and Nikos from the taverna. We would really come back here and highly recommend this place, you will find not only a perfect facilities, but amazing people to meet and get to know the Greek culture!

We stayed for 5 nights at the Ontas Villa in Loutraki and we really loved it. This place is perfect for 2 couples. George welcomed us really warmly with Greek specialties. Do not forget to visit the Taverne in Loutraki and drink a Raki with Nikos. We had a really great time there enjoying Greek food and drinks. The villa is perfectly located so you are able to drive wherever you want. You need only 25 min to Chania and 10 min to the closest beach in Platanias which is really nice too. You need about an hour and 20 min to get to Elafonissi and 50 min to Falarsana by car. We had such a pleasant stay and would highly recommend to stay at Ontas Villa. Whatever you need you have it and you can feel completely like home. This place is the best to stay in when you want to discover the western side of Crete.
