37 Ballast Point Drive is a non-smoking, pet-free, Saturday turn day home that offers a private elevator, garage usage, and fenced back yard for privacy.
Be prepared to be wowed by this stunning home starting with the multi-level outdoor living area with seasonal (4/15-10/15) in-ground pool and deck-top hot tub with famous Outer Banks outdoor shower located under the house are just some of the many highlights of the outdoor living area. Boaters will find 35' of dock space at Ballast Point Canal #30, across the street and a 2 minute walk away. Boat must be in water or in garage with trailer to remain at the property. If the trailer and/or boat do not fit in their respective places, they will need to be stored off-site for a fee.
Ground level entry with stairs and elevator leading to main living levels (six steps to get up to elevator). Second level with two king bedrooms and a 3rd bedroom with 2 twins.
Top level with open-concept living and dining area, fully-equipped kitchen, and master suite with jetted tub, leading to covered deck.

Beautiful home with gorgeous water views. Four of the bedrooms and cozy den with sleeper sofa with closet had water view and walk onto deck. Huge kitchen and eating spaces. Be aware that ground level bedroom is musty but management came with brand new air purifier which helped with our dehumidifier in the room. That same room has lattice work blocking the water view so is more suitable for the kids! Beautiful neighborhood with great location. Would definitely stay here again.

Our group loved that the house had an ice machine in the garage. This makes for an easier beach day packing coolers.
The overall house was pretty dated and not cleaned very well.
We had 10 people staying in the house with us. I was surprised to find that the kitchen lacked the pots/pans to accommodate breakfast and dinners for 10+ people.
The first day we got there we noticed ants everywhere in the kitchen. We also noticed a cockroach looking bug. I called the rental office to let them know we werent happy and they were going to call rhe pest company. This was Tuesday. We checked out today with is Saturday and the pest company had yet been to the house.The 2 storage rooms in the garage were a mess. Stuff all over the floor. The outdoor sink had weeds growing all around it. It was evident that the house isnt being cared for.
Overall we enjoy staying in Pirates Cove but what we paid for the house, we expected the house to be nicer and cleaner than what it was.
