Breathtaking Pacific Ocean and white sand beach views await you in this very comfortably furnished ranch-style home.

These spectacular views can be enjoyed from the deck, while soaking in the hot tub, or through the large windows in the living room, kitchen, and master bedroom. An adjoining path leads to Hare Creek Beach below where the flowing creek meets the gentle surf. (2022)The bottom of the beach access has eroded away with the big waves. Great location with easy access to the beach (path next to driveway is easier than it looks, but you might need to sit on a step to get down). Also next to the Botanical Gardens and close to just about anything you'd want to do there.

The location was wonderful, the house was clean though in much need of updating. The seventies have long past and the cosmetic repairs are very noticeable. It was close to our destination and in a quiet neighborhood. Still, a little expensive for the quality.

We rented this home for my dad’s 70th birthday. The view alone makes this home 5 stars. Yes, the house interior is dated. However, the photos accurately represent that so there was no surprise there. We plan to make this an annual trip!

First off the place was clean and comfortable, but dated. Property Manager sent someone to check on us "spying?"several times in a beatup pick up. I figured out what he was doing after the third time. But first thoughts were, is he stalking us? Is he going to rob us? It was not cool and very unsettling. Unprofessional in my opinion Pictures online are probably 10 years old. The vegetation is overgrown and blocks 30% of the view of cove.

Very conveniently situated just outside city limits with beach access. Great views of the ocean, nice quiet evenings and pets allowed! All made for a very nice quick weekend trip to the ocean. This is our second stay in this property, we love the convenience and the beach access.

The view of the beach and ocean made it all worthwhile. The interior is poorly maintained with stained carpet, leaking sink, broken windows, soft floor due to water leak, very old interior with zero updates. If you love the ocean - you’ll be happy but if you like any ambiance inside you are out of luck!

Had a wonderful stay at Cypress Cove. The space worked wonderfully for our needs. Perfect space, spectacular views, and close to everything we needed. It could use a little updating, but that wouldn’t stop us from staying here again, and that view more than made up for it.

You couldn't ask for a better location. The view was beautiful. And the trail down to the beach/cove is steps away. There are ropes to guide you down the last few "Earth" stairs, but it's still doable. We were four friends enjoying the minus tides & tiny baby Canadian Geese. Only a few human visitors that weekend. The house was clean & comfortable. As was the hot tub. Easy 11 minute drive to Mendocino made for a perfect day trip. But aside from that, we really didn't feel the need to leave. It's definitely a favorite.

Great spot if looking for a fabulous view. And there is ocean/beach access. (Not easy tho!) The accommodations suited our group of 6 fine. However, be aware that that this property is really in need of a makeover! I think the last update may have been in the 60’s. It has a very dated interior, if that bothers you, don’t rent this one.

We enjoyed the property and its location. Great views! too bad the telescope is not working and a few of the lights inside and outside the home did not work. Kitchen is a bit small for 6 adults, but we managed it fine. nice location close to town and easy to find. homeless guy at the edge of the property and on the beach was a bit sketchy, but no real issue. View and location are as advertised. Minutes from the Botanical Garden and downtown. Kitchen is well stocked. Very comfortable bed and sitting areas. It is an older home, fixtures and cabinets reminded me of my childhood.

We stayed at Cypress Cove during our grandson's spring break. We had five adults, an 11 year old boy and two dogs that loved the short walk to the beach and around the neighborhood. The house layout was perfect for us. The views from the deck, hot tub and house were incredible! We look forward to staying here again. We had a fabulous vacation. This house has a fabulous view of the ocean, there's always the sound of waves in the background, a hot tub, 3 bedrooms, a kitchen, living room, laundry room & garage. We stayed only for 4 nights for a wedding but this was a perfect place to stay & relax. The house itself is simple, practical and straight from the 1970's -- wood panels, octagonal light fixtures, small but equipped kitchen, etc. -- and had everything we needed! It was a joy to hang out in the wonderful hot tub under the stars after a day of wedding activities. My only "issue" is that many of the windows in the back rooms would not open so it was a bit difficult to get some fresh air in (for those in the party that wanted cooler evening air). All-in-all, would absolutely stay here again.

What a fantastic house with the perfect location! It’s an older house but everything is comfortable which is crucial. The dogs loved running in the yard and the path down to the cove is right next to the yard. Couldn’t be happier and would definitely stay again.
